2015 Sichuan Bridge Championship - Supplementary Provisions

                           Supplementary Provisions 


1. The “China Bridge Competition Rules” and the “China Bridge Competition Rules Supplementary Regulations (2014)” approved by the China Bridge Association in 2013 shall be subject to the provisions of this Regulation.


Second, the competition method


Implement the competition method established by the competition rules.


Third, serial number and competition arrangement


(1) Match number:


1. Class A and Class A: The first stage is listed in the order of Article 4 (4) of the “2014 Sichuan Bridge Competition Rules”. The first stage of the competition is the second stage. Serial number, and according to the scheduled game round.


2. Class B: The team with the master points shall be assigned the serial number according to the competition rules. The serial number of each team without the master points shall be randomly selected by the information technology supervisor under the supervision of the referee. The master's calculation deadline is March 20, and the arrears master is not counted. If you change the list before March 27th, you can calculate the master points. If you need to change the list, you will not be able to calculate the master points. The accumulated masters of the team will be counted as zero. If the team is in the odd number, there will be a round of empty teams, and the round air team will be scored according to 12VP.


If the score of a team(s) is confirmed to be upgraded after a certain round, the team(s) will no longer be included in the next match (each team is limited to 1 team).


 (2) The host and guest team:


1. The first and second stages of Class A and Class A: the squad number of the game round table is the former team.


2, the second-level group points programming: single-round encounters between the two teams with a small team number as the main team, double-round encounters between the two teams with a large team number.


3. Elimination: Lottery decision. Execute according to the first paragraph (3) of Article 18 of the China Bridge Competition Rules.


4, the home team in the opening room to sit in the north and south, closed room to sit things.


(3) Fill in the list of appearances


1. Class A and Class A first and second stage competitions: Each team has no seat selection right. Fill out the list of appearances and submit it 15 minutes before each round.


2. The first stage of the second grade competition: Each team has no seat selection right and adopts the direct seating method.


3. Elimination game: The elimination team will fill out the appearance list 10 minutes in advance, and then the home team will fill in 5 minutes in advance. If the two teams need to play in addition, the two sides have no right to choose seats, and the list of appearances will be announced independently according to the requirements of the referee.


Fourth, the game program


(1) It is forbidden to use the yellow system; it is forbidden to use the brown agreement.


(2) Each contestant must bring the Chinese "contract card" (which may contain the bridge-specific English symbols) of the pair to participate in the competition.


(3) Class A and Class A B are not restricted to use psychological calls. In each class (round) of the B group, each pair of players can only use psychological calls in one deck.


(4) Match cards: Class A and Class A B teams use computer prefabricated games for the whole process; Class B teams are distributed by the players themselves.


(5) Score sheet


1. Execute in accordance with Article 43 of the China Bridge Competition Rules.


2. Class A and Class A use computer scores. The single score table is used as the basis for the effective results of the game. It must be filled out in time, and the counters will be checked and submitted to the referees. After the game is over, the scores will be checked by the scoreboard.


(6) Change the time limit


Within 30 minutes of the results of each (round) competition (or as specified by the referee), the effective time limit for correcting the score error may not be changed.


(7) Time for competition:


1. Time limit for playing: All players must enter the venue 5 minutes before the start of the competition and prepare for the competition.


2. Competition time limit:


8 decks: 1 hour


10 decks: 1 hour 15 minutes


12 decks: 1 hour 30 minutes


3. If there is a late arrival or overtime, the penalty will be imposed according to the "China Bridge Competition Rules".


Five, with points


(1) Entering the knockout stage, the B-level group does not have points.


(2) Entering the knockout stage, Class A and Class A B teams will be awarded points. The winning team is in the previous stage, with a 1/2 win over the IMP; otherwise, with a 1/3 of the net win; the IMP can not exceed 1/1 of the knockout (or play-off). 4.


(3) When all the points cannot be divisible, they are calculated according to the rounding standard (retained to 2 after the decimal point).


6. Decision method for ranking when the points are the same


(1) Round robin: When the VP is the same, the ranking is determined according to Article 46 of the Rules of China Bridge Competition.


(2) Points Arrangement: When the VP is the same, the ranking is determined according to Article 46, paragraph 3 of the “China Bridge Competition Rules”.


(3) Elimination: When the IMP is the same, the ranking is determined according to Article 46 of the Chinese Bridge Competition Rules.


Seven, competition discipline and etiquette requirements


During the competition, the participants must abide by the requirements of the China Bridge Competition Rules. If there is any violation, they will be dealt with according to relevant regulations.


Special note: If there is a replacement or a team or more than the number of athletes in the list, once found, the team will be disqualified.


Eight, appeal


(1) The Arbitration Commission of the Competition shall accept the appeals of the teams.


(2) All appeals must be submitted to the referee within 30 minutes after the official score of the festival (round) is announced (as required by the referee when the referee has requested otherwise), and the appeal procedure shall be performed as required. The appeal fee is RMB 300 per time.


 


 


Attachment: Description of the yellow system and brown convention


 


First, the yellow system - highly highly used system, refers to the system that meets any of the following:


1. The absence of a call at the open position indicates that there is at least a normal first-order open call force, even though it may include a weak hand. A weak card refers to a hand with a big card below the average card strength.


2. First-order opening can be weaker than not calling.


3. The first-order opening can be lower than the average card strength by one K. The average card power refers to a hand with 10 big points and no card value.


4. A first-order opening means that a particular suit is a long sleeve or a short sleeve. Long sleeves refer to three or more, and short sleeves refer to two or fewer.


5. A first-order opening indicates that a particular suit or another suit is a long sleeve.


Second, the brown convention is called:


(1) The following convention is called brown convention:


1. Any opening of 2 plums to 3 spades indicates that it may be a weak card, and a weak card does not explicitly specify at least 4 known colors. *But the following opening is not a brown appointment:


A second-order low-flower opening, indicating a weak high-opening of any high flower, regardless of whether there is a strong card option (16 big points or more). However, the opponent can check the written defensive measures in the game.


*: A 2 plum to 3 spade opening, all of its weak cards indicate at least 4 known suits, and the strong card shows at least one K more than the average card, which is not a brown contract.


2. For a natural first-order single-set open call, it is not clear that at least four known suits are specified. However, the following disputes do not belong to the brown convention:


(1) Naturally no competition will be called.


(2) The buckle shows a strong card. A strong card refers to a hand with a big card that is at least one K above the average card strength.


(3) For the jumper call of the known color of the other party, the companion is required to call 3NT when the suit has a stop.


3. Any second- or third-order weak two-card bid can be used in only one or three of the suits.


4. The psychological protection of system protection or system requirements. The frequency of occurrence is sufficient for the companion who makes the bidder to know that there may be a significant distortion of the bid, which is a bid based on the inter-partner agreement and is not a psychological call.


(2) Athletes who use brown conventions must indicate brown in the system classification column.


(3) Confrontational contending for forced-opening, brown or yellow systems, not a brown convention.


(4) Openings that may be lower than the 8 major points and without further description shall not be used.
