The 28th "Super Wei-Bai Ling Cup" Bridge Competition was held at the Dongwu International Hotel in Huzhou on September 8-12. There are 40 teams from all over the country, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese. Participated in this bridge event for the elderly. The Bailing Cup symbolizes longevity and is designed to promote the improvement of bridge art among old comrades and enhance the exchanges between bridge friends. The event was founded by the Zhejiang Bridge Association. It was supported by the famous Hong Kong people, Mr. Xu Zhantang. Now, with the joint efforts of the local bridge associations, it has become a long-awaited event for the players.
Bailing, because the sum of the ages of each pair of players must reach the age of over 100. This year's contestants are more than 20 in the 80s, and 70 in the 70s. The oldest is 98 Weng from Taipei.
The competition was divided into two preliminaries and finals. Shanghai Changshou and Macau won the finals in Group A preliminaries.
