The National People's University Affiliated Bridge Team won the Hong Kong City Cup International Invitational Youth Championship

       In order to actively prepare for the upcoming World Youth Championships in Turkey, the Beijing People's University Squadron (U15), which represents China's U15, participated in the 2014 Hong Kong City Bridge Championship Youth Group and won 180:100 in the final. The results beat the Hong Kong youth U25 team and finally won the championship.


       The Hong Kong City Bridge Championship is an international invitational tournament with a history of several decades. The youth group has a total of 20 teams participating in the competition. According to the competition rules, 10 teams from each of the Y and Z teams will be divided into 9 rounds of single-cycle competitions. Two entered the semi-finals and the winners of the semi-finals entered the finals.


      In the first three days of the group round robin, the Beijing People's University Squadron defeated the Hong Kong University team and the Singapore Nanyang Technological University team and entered the semi-finals with a score of 8 wins and 1 loss.


      In the semi-finals on the afternoon of August 1st, the opponent was the Hong Kong HEAT team who had beaten himself in the round robin. Although HEAT has a score advantage of 8IMPS, the Beijing People's University Squadron played well in the semi-finals. HEAT has any fantasies. The two sections entered the finals with 39:22, 48:48 and 87:78. In the other semi-final, the Hong Kong youth team defeated Shanghai Xing, which is led by A-class club members, with 68:62.5. Le Youth Team entered the finals.


      At 10:00 am on August 2, the youth group's finals started on time and began a fierce competition. However, the Hong Kong youth team faced only half of their younger age players who were obviously underestimated in their difficulties. Mistakes. The Beijing People's University squadron won three straight games and won with a total score of 180:100.
