The 2014 Summer National Bridge Communication Competition hosted by the China Bridge Association was held at the same time in the country's 204 points at 13:30 on June 22, with nearly 10,000 players.
This competition was the first time to apply for the national communication competition after the registration of Shanghai Pujiang Tianping Bridge Club. It was strongly supported by the labor unions directly under the Shanghai Higher People's Court. It came from the city court and the municipal law committee, the municipal government union, the municipal judicial bureau, 52 players from the Municipal People's Social Security Bureau, the Municipal Drug Addiction Treatment Bureau, the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau and the Municipal Library participated in the competition. The famous player and five-star grandmaster Xu Hongjun were also invited to participate. Mr. Fan Jiahao of Shanghai Bridge Association served as the referee of this game.
After fierce competition of 24 decks, in the end, Chen Zhong-Pan Yubai, Xu Hongjun-Wang Xinghe, Zhang Dezhi-Chen Dongyuan had three to three pairs in the north-south direction; Jin Xiaoyan-Kang Zhijuan, Tang Yi-Xu Zhuhong, Cai Xiang-Qian Cheng’s three pairs have won one to three in the east-west direction.
