The "Central Hospital Cup" 2014 Nanchong City Bridge Championship was held on March 14-16 at the Xishan Sports Ground City Bridge Activity Center. 35 bridge teams participated in the competition, including 22 in the city, 3 in Chongqing, 4 in Chengdu, 2 in Guang'an, 3 in Suining, and 1 bridge in Panzhihua to participate in the competition, as well as from Liangshan, Zigong, Aba, etc. Bridge lovers.
The competition is divided into two levels: Group A and Group B. The two stages are preliminaries and finals. The competition was brilliant, black horses, and the traditional strong teams of the eight-in-four elimination tournaments were dismissed. The newly promoted Chongqing Hongyuan and the Municipal Development and Reform Commission eliminated their opponents and reached the semi-finals. The black horse ran wildly, and in the end, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission defeated the previous champion Nanchong Development with a slight advantage of 1IMP and took the lead in the final. Chongqing Hongyuan also won only 2IMP, eliminated Xiguan Anhan, and the Municipal Development and Reform Commission division final. After four and a half hours of 32 deputy finals, Chongqing Hongyuan laughed to the end and won the championship. The Municipal Development and Reform Commission succumbed to the runner-up, Nanchong Development, Xichong Anhan, Municipal People's Social Security Bureau and Municipal Health Bureau scored 3-6. Gaoping District, City Medical Group, College and Community Bridge Activity Station dropped into Group B. Chengdu Ziyun Pavilion, Sichuan Dahe Real Estate Bridge Club, and Chongqing Wandering Team won the top three of Group B and were promoted to Group A.
