What message conveys this double?
Hola Fernando:
I would say that on general principles that double says either they’re going down on any lead or that South is trying to direct a lead. If the latter then South will have values outside of clubs and prefer a non-club lead.
Again, general principles are that South most likely wants a lead of dummy’s suit (hearts). I don’t think it matters if North raises clubs since South will not be expecting North to compete to 6 Clubs.
