The first quarter of the "Lan's Cup" series of small group competitions hosted by the Gansu Provincial Bridge Association was held on February 23, 2014 at the Provincial Bridge Association Event Center. The competition is divided into two groups, A and B. The Mines Tianle Club and Kangshou Club will retain the next Group A qualification in the fourth and fifth grades. The training club and the iron-based old team will drop into the next B group.
Group B determines the system based on the number of teams registered, and the first two upgrades. In the end, Gansu Electric Power Company and Westerner Bridge Club won the top two and qualified for the next Group A competition.
