The 5th JJ Competition Cup Bridge Team Competition jointly organized by Jiangxi Bridge Association, JJ Competition Bridge Club and Nanchang Engineering College Bridge Association was held on December 16th, 2018 at the Nanchang Engineering College Gymnasium. 46 teams from Beijing, Shanghai, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi and other provinces and cities participated in the competition.
After three days of fierce competition of 120 decks, Anhui Anqing team won the championship with 9 wins and 1 loss accumulating 145.17 VP. Wuhan Old Buddy Team and Jiangxi Pingshui Bridge Team won the runner-up and third place respectively. Hubei Bridge E+ team, Wuhan Quantong Team, Hebei Happy Migratory Birds Club Team, Nanchang Engineering College Team, and Hunan Fengqing Yundan Team won the fourth to eighth respectively.
The closing ceremony was presided over by Mr. Liu Kainan, the referee of the competition. Mr. Li Liyong, Executive Vice President of Jiangxi Bridge Association, Mr. Yu Mingquan, General Manager of JJ Competition Bridge Club, and Mr. Li Lifeng, Secretary General of Bridge Association of Nanchang Institute of Engineering, respectively awarded the top three teams. Gold, silver and bronze.
