Notice on Organizing Registration for the U19 Group Competition in the 2019 Asia-Pacific Bridge Youth Championship

The 2019 Asia Pacific Bridge Federation Youth Team Championship will be held in Thailand in April. There is no limit to the number of teams enrolled in a group competition for children aged 15 and under. The relevant matters concerning the registration of the event and the China Bridge Association registration are as follows:


First, the time and place of the game


(1) Competition time: April 5-11, 2019


(II) Venue: Montien Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand


Second, the registration requirements


(1) Chinese athletes participating in this competition must register with the Asia-Pacific Bridge Federation through the China Bridge Association.


(2) The participating teams must register with the China Bridge Association through the China Bridge Association's provincial and city bridge associations.


(3) Teams and athletes shall be subject to the unified management of the China Bridge Association and, if necessary, obey the unified command.


(4) Athletes participating in this competition shall abide by the rules of the Asia-Pacific Bridge Federation and sign the participation commitment letter, and shall not have any problems with the competition.


(5) Each team must submit the registration form and the competition commitment letter to the China Bridge Association before January 25, 2019.


The China Bridge Association confirms that the participating teams must submit the athletes' list and information online before February 15 and submit the agreement card online before March 2.


(6) Units and athletes who have successfully registered must be guaranteed to participate in the competition. According to the Asia-Pacific Bridge Regulations, if the registered team is unable to participate due to any reason, it is necessary to report to the China Bridge Association before 17:00 on April 1 and obtain the consent, otherwise it will be punished by the organizing committee.


(7) Any team or athletes who do not participate in the competition without any valid reason shall be disqualified from registering for the international competition within two years, and shall be given corresponding punishments according to the “Interim Regulations on the Discipline of Competition of the China Bridge Association”.


3. The China Bridge Association is responsible for the unified registration of the Asia-Pacific Bridge and the invitation letter from the competition organizing committee. After obtaining the confirmation of the China Bridge Association, all units will go through the formalities of foreign affairs and visits according to local foreign affairs.


    Fourth, the cost of the game


(1) Registration fee: USD 200 per team, please remit it before February 15, 2019. The bank information is as follows:

(2) Accommodation fees


1. Charge standard


Standard Room (2 persons): USD 70/person (including three meals)


Single Room: USD 110/person (including three meals)


There are no triple rooms in the hotel, and the accompanying staff and athletes have the same rate.

3. At the time of registration, each athlete is required to pay a one night accommodation deposit.


Five, other matters needing attention


(1) All registration teams are required to report the athletes' lists and materials in strict accordance with the time limit for registration and submit the agreed cards. Those who fail to submit the agreed cards on time will be fined.


(2) The team leader will be held on April 4, 2019 from 16:00-17:30, and the dinner will be held on April 4, 2019 at 19:00. Teams are invited to attend on time.
