On January 26, 2019, the “Xin Rui Cup” National Bridge Youth Team Competition kicked off in Penglai, Shandong Province, with 96 youth teams from all over the country. Deputy Director of the Bridge Department of the National Sports General Administration, Director of the China Bridge Association, Wang Yannan, Deputy Director of the Shandong Provincial Card Game Management Center, and Han Lei, President of the Shandong Bridge Association attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Changgang announced the opening of the competition.
The competition is divided into four groups. The competitions in each group are: 35 in the U15 group, 15 in the U20 group, 28 in the U25 group, and 18 in the U25 women's group. The competition is divided into two stages. The first stage is a 6-round point arrangement, 3 rounds per day, and each team takes 8 teams to enter the second stage elimination tournament. The first stage of the U15 group is divided into groups A and B. The top 4 teams in each group enter the knockout round. On the 28th, the game entered the quarterfinals. Teams that have not entered the semi-finals can participate in the subsequent Swiss team competitions. All competitions will end on the 30th and an award ceremony will be held.
The competition was hosted by China Bridge Association, Shandong Bridge Sports Association, Penglai Municipal People's Government, Penglai Zhijian Sports Culture Co., Ltd., Yantai Guotou Ruian Bridge Club, and Beijing Xinruiqiao Technology Co., Ltd.
