The competition was held at the Bridge Activity Center of Gansu Province at 9 am on August 6. There were 20 pairs of players participating in the competition. After 8 rounds of 24 decks, the rankings were decided:
1st place Zhu Xiuhong Fu Dechun 211 points 62.80%
The second place, the three roots, Wang Wenyuan, 204 points, 60.71%
Third place Zhang Xiaoqing Zhao Zhengyu 197 points 58.63%
Fourth place Wang Fang Zhang Zairen 196 points 58.18%
