The signing ceremony of “COSCO Construction”, titled Shanghai Qizhong Bridge Club, was held on March 4, 2007 at 1:30 pm, at the Haitai Hotel, Ocean Plaza, No. 1188 Siping Road, Shanghai. Wu Shengxiang, vice chairman of Shanghai Qizhong Sports Forest City Co., Ltd., general manager of Shanghai Qizhong Bridge Club, and Chen Shichun, general manager of Shanghai COSCO Construction General Contracting Co., Ltd., signed the "Name Agreement" on behalf of both parties, from January 2007 From the 1st, Shanghai Qizhong Bridge Club will participate in all national bridge competitions and will be named “COSCO Construction”.
After the signing ceremony, the "Australian Cabinet Cup" Double Bridge Invitational was held. Chen Xianglin/Tang Houzu, Wang Yue/Ding Jianmin, Dai Liu/Shang Baisong, Shi Meishan/Wang Xinghe, Wang Hanrong/Zhu Xiaokui and Gu Zhenyu/Xu Yong were respectively ranked first in the north-south direction and east-west direction.
