The 11th "Dazhong Cup" Beijing Old Age Bridge Invitational Competition Regulations


In order to promote the development of the old bridge movement, promote the exchange of elderly bridge lovers in all provinces and cities across the country, and at the same time promote the bridge, the healthy puzzle and the anti-aging intellectual movement, among the elderly, sponsored by the Beijing Bridge Association, Beijing University The 11th "Dazhong Cup" Beijing Senior Bridge Invitational Tournament sponsored by China Investment Co., Ltd. and Beijing Bridge Friends Sports Co., Ltd. will be held in Beijing Kangming Building from May 7th to 9th, 2019.

Beijing Kangming Building (18th Street, Beijing Dongcheng District Art Museum, opposite Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine)


Bus route: Get off at the South Station of Bus No. 104, No. 108 and No. 11 Road Broad Street; get off at the East Station of Bus No. 3, No. 13, No. 42, No. 113, No. 115, No. 118 and No. 701.


Subway route:


Beijing Railway Station: Take Metro Line 2 (to Chaoyangmen Station) and transfer to Metro Line 6 (get off at Nanluoguxiang Station)


Beijing West Railway Station: Take Metro Line 9 (to Baishiqiao South Station) and transfer to Metro Line 6 (get off at Nanluoguxiang Station)


Beijing South Railway Station: Take Metro Line 4 (to Ping'anli Station) and transfer to Metro Line 6 (get off at Nanluoguxiang Station)


Beijing Capital International Airport: Take the Airport Line (to Dongzhimen Station) and transfer to Metro Line 2 (to Chaoyangmen Station) and change to Metro Line 6 (get off at Nanluoguxiang Station)


After getting off at the Nanluoguxiang Station of the subway, take Exit B (Northeast Exit) and walk about 650 meters.


V. Competition methods:


Open team competition: the competition is divided into two stages


1. The first stage: the use of points programming, 7 rounds of competition, 10 decks per round, ranked by VP. The 1st-16th team entered the second stage knockout, and the 17th and subsequent teams entered the second stage of the additional points choreography.


2. The second stage: divided into knockout and additional points programming


(1) Elimination: 16 teams will automatically cancel the position.


1/8 Final: Conduct 16 decks of matches and decide the outcome by IMP. The winning team entered the quarter-finals and the team entered the additional points choreography.


Quarterfinal: Conduct 20 decks of matches and decide the outcome by IMP. The winning team entered the semi-finals and the team entered the fifth to eighth qualifying.


Semi-final: In two sessions, 24 decks will be played and the outcome will be determined by IMP. The winning team entered the finals and the team entered three or four play-offs.


Finals and three or four play-offs: In two sessions, 24 decks will be played, with the decision of the winner.


(2) Additional points scheduling: The 17th and subsequent teams in the first stage and the 1/8 final elimination team will enter the additional points arrangement. A total of 6 rounds of competition, 12 decks per round. Accumulated VP in the additional points and 25% of the VPs in each team in the first stage.


3. The game adopts the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules (2018)". This game prohibits the use of psychological calls, highly-used systems and brown conventions.


4. Participating players must bring the Chinese agreement card (which may have a bridge-specific English symbol) to participate in the competition. If the Chinese agreement card is not carried, it shall be executed in accordance with Article 54 of the Rules.


6. Participation methods:


1. The age of the participating players should meet the following requirements: the male team member is 60 years old and the female team member is 55 years old (each team is allowed to have a male team member 58 years old or a female team member 53 years old. Please bring your ID card for inspection when registering). Good health, no major illnesses, can guarantee normal participation in the bridge competition. (The age of the invited team can be appropriately relaxed)


2. Each team is limited to 4 to 6 people.


3. Entry fee: The registration fee is 600 yuan per team, and it will be paid once at the time of registration. The participating teams will be responsible for transportation, accommodation and food expenses.


Seven, incentives:


1. The number of awards is not less than 40% of the number of participating teams, depending on the number of teams participating.


2. Set a mobile championship trophy. Those who win the championship for 3 consecutive sessions will retain this trophy forever.


Eight, competition time:


On May 7-9, 2019 (the host leader meeting will be held at the Kangming Building in Beijing at 18:00 on May 6th. The participating teams in Beijing may not participate, the field team needs to participate)
