Sponsored by Gansu Province and Lanzhou City Bridge Association, the 2007 “Yi Neng Cup” Gansu Provincial 15th Bridge Club Team Competition was held at the Provincial Bridge Activity Center on April 7-8. Eight teams from six clubs participated in the competition. The competition was conducted in a single cycle, playing seven rounds and playing 16 decks per round. After two days of fierce competition, Gansu Electric Power Club won the championship with 139VP, Lanzhou Tianhe Club won the runner-up with 131.5VP, and Lanzhou Yineng Club won the third with 126VP.
The Lanzhou Yineng Bridge Club was recently established with the support of Lanzhou Yieneng Group. Lanzhou Yieneng Group Co., Ltd. is a diversified operation company of Lanzhou Power Supply Company. Lanzhou Power Supply Company has a large number of bridge enthusiasts and has a good mass base. Most of the club members are the bridge masters of the company. Its establishment will definitely promote the Lanzhou Power Supply Company System. The popularity and development of the bridge movement has continuously improved the level of bridge competition in the event.
