"Xiquan Cup" 18th China Youth Bridge Competition will be held in Gansu

I. Organizers: Huaxia Friendship City Senior Bridge Club, Gansu Provincial Sports Bureau, Jiuquan Municipal People's Government, Gansu Provincial Sports Association.


Second, the organizer: Gansu Provincial Bridge Association, Jiuquan City Sports Bureau, Jiuquan City Sports Association.


III. Time and place of the competition: May 15-21, 2007 was held at Jiuquan Hotel, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province.


4. Participating units: Only members can participate, and each unit is limited to 1 team.


V. Participation methods:


1. Each team can report to the team leader and coaches (if the age of the athletes must meet the requirements), 6 athletes (limited to males born before May 21, 1947, females born before May 21, 1952);


2. Athletes (including part-time) must be healthy enough to participate. The health and safety of each team is responsible for itself.


3. All athletes must send a copy of their ID card to the organizer when they register for the second time. Anyone who does not meet the requirements may not enter the competition.


4. The participation fee of each unit is self-care, the room and board fee is RMB 120/person/day, and the super-editor is RMB 150/person/day for a total of 7 days. No check-out or refund is allowed in the middle;


5, each team should pay a group membership fee of 100 yuan, the competition registration fee of 50 yuan per person. The above fees are paid in one lump sum;


6. Please ask the teams to report to the competition area on May 15th, 2007. The cost of the early arrival will be calculated separately.


Sixth, the competition project: open team competition.


Seven, the game method:


1. Execute the "China Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association in 1999 and the "Chinese Bridge Association Duplex Bridge Rules (Trial)" in 2006.


2. Each pair of players must carry 2 copies of the agreed card. Those who do not have the agreed card are not allowed to enter the competition;


3. It is forbidden to use unconventional bidding systems such as weak open calls and psychological bidding;


4. The competition is divided into two phases:


(1) The first stage adopts the Swiss shift system, with a total of 9 rounds and 16 decks per round. 3 rounds per day, of which the second round is divided into upper and lower sections, the first and third rounds are not divided, and the first round is based on 1-(N) maximum number, 2-(N-1), 3-( N-2)... proceed; finally sorted by the cumulative VP, the top eight entered the second stage. The serial numbers of each team are ranked according to the ranking of the previous competition. The new team entered the lottery and entered the serial number.


(2) The second stage adopts a single elimination system, with a total of 3 rounds, 24 decks per round, divided into two sections, one day and a half. In the first stage, the team with 1-3 positions has the right to choose opponents in 5-8 teams and enter the first quarter quarter-finals. The first round of the winning 4 teams still ranked according to the first stage of the game, the former selected opponents to play the second round of the semi-finals to 1-4, the negative team to play the game according to the above method 5-8, the second round of the game The winning team won the third round with the winning team, the negative team and the negative team, and finally decided to make 1-8.


5. All the other teams that have not entered the top eight will participate in the Swiss Shift Play-off (the team leader and the coach can participate in voluntary participation at any age). The competition will be based on the first stage of the ranking 9-(N last), 10-( N-1), 11-(N-2)..... A total of 6 rounds were played, and 12 decks were played in each round, ranking the cumulative VP.


Eight, registration:

2. For the second registration, please send a copy of the official seal and a copy of the ID card to the Gansu Provincial Bridge Association before March 31, 2007.

Ten, admission and reward:


1. The top 8 teams in the Open Team Competition and the Swiss Shift Play-offs are accepted;

11. The competition judges and arbitration commissioners shall be employed by the organizer.


12. The right to interpret this procedure belongs to the Old Town Bridge Club of Huaxia Friendship City.
