The “Xiningji Cup” 2007 Liaoning Provincial Championship was held in Shenyang Iron and Steel Hotel from May 3rd to 6th. A total of 22 teams from all over Liaoning Province participated in the competition. The champion was finally won by the Shenyang Xinning Foundation. This is the team's re-winning champion after winning the Liaoning Provincial 9th National Games last year. The Liaohe Oilfield Team and the Shenyang Third Ring Team won the second and third place respectively.
The game is divided into two stages: preliminaries and finals. The preliminaries are six rounds of Swiss shifts, with 20 decks per round and the top 8 entering the knockout round. In the final, Shenyang Xinning Foundation eliminated the Fushun New Steel Team in the quarter-finals; eliminated the Fortune Center team in the semi-final; defeated the Liaohe Oilfield team in the final and won the championship.
In this competition, the sponsor of the Shenyang Bridge Association invited the domestic well-known referee Gu Yi as the referee of the game.
