Rules for the Bridge (College) Competition of the First Shanghai Student Games

1. Organizer: Fudan University


2. Co-organizer: Shanghai Bridge Association


3. Competition date and location:


        (1) Contest date: November 1st to November 2nd


    (2) Location: Fudan University


4. Participating Units: Universities in the city


5. Competition items and age:


        (1) Competition item: Open team competition.


    (2) Age: Born after January 1, 1981, the school age must not exceed 22 years old.


6. Participation method:


        (1) The qualifications and registration time of athletes shall be in accordance with the general rules of the 2008 Shanghai Student Games Competition Rules.


    (2) Number of applicants: 1 team leader (and coach) and 6 athletes per unit.


    (3) Registration: The first registration time is from June 20th to June 25th, and the event will be reported first; the second registration time is September 15th


          Until September 20.


7. Competition method:


        (1) The competition adopts a single loop competition method, with 16 decks of cards played in each round.


    (2) The game is divided into main by field and V.P as auxiliary; 25:0VP table, 15:15V.P, field is divided into 1:1; 16:14V.P, field is divided into


          1.5:0.5; 17:13V.P, the field is divided into 2:0. If V.P is equal, compare the ratio of I.M.P's scores and scores. The higher one is ranked


          before.


          (3) Adopt the "China Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association in 1999 and the "China Bridge Association Duplex" promulgated in 2006


                Contracted Bridge Judgement (Trial)."


          (4) The competition team and the chief referee preside over the grouping, drawing and arrangement.


          (5) Each pair of contestants must fill in the Chinese bidding agreement card in detail, and those without a card agreement are not allowed to participate.


          (6) Athletes participate in the competition with their student ID and registration certificate.


8. Admission ranking, card counting, scoring and reward methods:


        It shall be implemented in accordance with the general rules of the competition rules of this Games.


9. Appeals and discipline:

10. Referees and Arbitration Committee:


        It shall be implemented in accordance with the general rules of the competition rules of this Games.


11. The interpretation and modification of the competition rules of this project belong to the Competition Department of the Organizing Committee of the Games.
