Notice and Procedures for Holding the National Bridge Class A Club Qualification Tournament

Members of each unit:


In order to determine the qualification of the 2009 national bridge A club. In addition to the normally qualified Category A clubs, a qualifying round will be held during the 2008 Category A Club League Finals to determine the qualifications for the other two Category A clubs. The relevant matters of this qualifying competition are hereby notified as follows:


1. Competition time: December 9th to 19th


2. Venue: Xinzhi Hotel, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province


3. Eligibility:


(1) The clubs ranked 16th in the total scores of the first two stations of the 2008 National Bridge A Club League and the A clubs that were eliminated in the play-offs.


(2) Free registration. Free registration conditions:


 1. Every club that Fanyu applies to become a member of the Chinese Bridge Association Class A club can sign up.


  2. The participating team shall not include athletes who have participated in the 2008 A club competition.


  3. Possesses the conditions to register as a Class A club of the China Bridge Association.


  4. Pay a deposit of 100,000 yuan for the competition. Use of match deposit:


a. If you fail to obtain the A club qualification in the normal competition, it will be returned;


b. If you get the qualification to be upgraded to A club in the normal competition, and after completing the relevant procedures within the specified time, 50% of the deposit will be refunded, and the remaining part will be used as the deposit for the next year's A club.


c. If you get the qualification to be upgraded to a club A, but refuse to go through the relevant registration procedures without reason, the deposit will be confiscated.


d. All the confiscated match deposits will be turned over to the China Bridge Association as expenses related to the A club.


(3) Registration method:


1. All teams are requested to register with the China Bridge Association before November 30, 2008.


2. Materials required for registration: fill in the registration form; pay one hundred thousand yuan as a match deposit.

(4) The registration fee is 800 yuan/team, please pay at the time of registration


4. Registration: The specific time for registration of each team will be notified separately.


5. Board and lodging: Each person pays 220 yuan for board and lodging per day during the competition.
