Gansu Bridge Sports Association
1. Competition time and location
It was held in Gansu Province Bridge Activity Center (No. 262, Railway West Village, Lanzhou City) on August 19-23, 2009.
2. Organizer
Gansu Provincial Sports Federation, Gansu Bridge Sports Association.
3. Competition items
Open team competitions, women's team competitions, open doubles, women's doubles, celebrity doubles.
4. Participants
1. The bridge associations of the five northwestern provinces and capital cities can be reported to the public and one women’s team. Each team can report one team leader, coach, and four to six players.
2. The transfer athletes of each association must register with Mr. Hu Fang, secretary general of the Northwest Bridge Cooperation Zone (mobile phone 13319255583) before June 30. Unregistered athletes are not allowed to participate, otherwise the team's competition results will be cancelled.
3. According to the relevant opinions of the Minutes of the 2008 Xining Meeting of the Northwest Bridge Cooperation Zone, we will continue to invite teams from the Southwestern Provinces and Hong Kong Bridge Association to participate (each unit can report to the public, and one women’s team), no registration fee will be charged.
4. According to the relevant opinions of the Minutes of the 2008 Xining Meeting of the Northwest Bridge Cooperation Zone, the organizer shall control the number of participating teams within four. 5. Competition method
1. Implement the "China Bridge Competition Rules" (1999 edition) approved by the China Bridge Association and the 2006 "China Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Judgment Law (Trial)".
2. The open team competition is divided into two stages: the preliminary and the final. The preliminaries adopt a single loop method, each round playing 16 decks of cards, the preliminaries are ranked by cumulative VP, and the top four enter the finals; the finals use knockout games, each round playing 24 decks of cards, divided into two quarters.
3. The women's team competition is conducted in a double-round way, with 16 decks of cards played in each round, and the final ranking is ranked by cumulative VP.
4. The open double competition is divided into two stages: the preliminaries and the finals, both of which adopt the Mitchell competition system. In the preliminaries, the North and South and East and West teams will each take the top eight to enter the finals. For the teams participating in the finals in the open team competition, each team will allow two pairs of players to enter the finals automatically. The organizer retains the qualifications of the two pairs of players to enter the finals.
5. The women's double competition is divided into two stages: preliminaries and finals. The preliminaries adopt the Mitchell competition system. The top four teams from the north and south and east and west groups will each enter the finals. The final adopts the Howell competition system.
6. For the celebrity double competition, each participating association leader is limited to one pair, and the Mitchell competition system is adopted.
Six, arrangement
The serial numbers of the teams are arranged by the referee team to ensure that teams from the same province, autonomous region, and municipality meet in the first three rounds, and the other teams draw lots to decide.
Seven, representations
1. The competition will set up an arbitration committee to accept related complaints.
2. All appeals must be submitted to the chief referee within 30 minutes after the end of the round, and written materials and an appeal fee of RMB 50 must be submitted.
8. Admission rankings and rewards
1. The top six in the open team competition, the top three will be awarded trophies, medals, and bonuses, and the fourth to sixth will be awarded with certificates and bonuses.
2. The top three women's team competitions will be awarded trophies, medals and bonuses.
3. The top three places in the double match will be awarded with certificates, medals and bonuses respectively.
4. There will be sportsmanship awards. Three teams will be selected in the open group and two teams in the women's group, and trophies will be awarded respectively.
5. The winning teams (pairs) of each project shall declare their master points to the China Bridge Association in accordance with regulations.
