2009 "Huayuan Real Estate Cup" Beijing Bridge Grade Competition Rules

The Beijing Bridge Association and Beijing Huayuan Real Estate Co., Ltd. jointly organized this competition.

    2. Competition method:


     1. The competition will be a four-person rematch, and each team can report for six players.


     2. The non-level preliminaries and semi-finals all adopt the Swiss shift system. The preliminaries are divided into two groups. The top eight in each group will enter the semi-finals; the top eight in the semi-finals will enter the finals. The preliminaries and semi-finals will be played in 4 rounds with 8 cards in each round. A total of eight teams in the final will use a single loop with 12 pairs in each round After deciding the place, he will be promoted to the second level.


     3. The B-level competition is divided into two stages. The first stage is divided into four groups in a serpentine arrangement for a single cycle, with 12 decks of cards in each round. The top two in each group entered the next stage, and the bottom two in each group dropped to no grade. The second stage is a single round of eight teams, with 12 decks of cards in each round, and the top four are promoted to the first class.


4. The first division competition is divided into two stages. The first stage is divided into two groups in a single cycle according to the 2008 ranking snake, with 16 decks of cards in each round. In the second stage, the top four in each group enter the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals; the fifth in each group will be directly relegated, and the ninth and tenth will be scheduled according to the VP of the first stage; the sixth and seventh in each group will enter the relegation Play-offs; the eighth place in each group is directly reduced to the second level.


Quarter-finals: Playing 20 decks of cards, the first in each group in the first stage can pick another group of three or four to cross.


Semi-finals: Playing 24 decks of cards, the top four teams are VPs in the first stage, and the first-ranked teams can choose their opponents from the third and fourth-ranked teams; the fifth to eighth semi-finals face the same way.


Finals: Playing 28 decks, one to six are scheduled; the seventh and eighth are no longer in the finals, and are scheduled according to the VP of the first stage.


Relegation playoffs: (1) The sixth place in each group has 24 decks of cards, and the winner is relegated; the seventh place in each group has 24 decks of cards, and the loser is relegated;


(2) The sixth place loser in each group plays another 24 cards with the seventh place winner in each group. The winner is relegated and the loser is demoted.

Get off at Jiandeqiao Station of Metro Line 10 and take the Northwest Exit.


 


4. Competition time: (please see the attached table for specific arrangements)


No rating: June 8 to June 21, 2009


Level B: June 6 to June 21, 2009


Grade A: June 6 to June 21, 2009


 


5. Registration method:


1. Unranked teams can voluntarily form a team to register.


2. A and B teams must maintain more than two-thirds of the original team members in 2008 to be eligible to register.


3. Registration time: from now until June 5th, 9:00-17:00 every day

6. Charging method:


1. The registration fee for the preliminaries and semi-finals of the unranked teams is 100 yuan; the final registration fee is 200 yuan.


2. The registration fee of the second-tier team preliminaries and finals is 200 yuan each.


3. The first-class team pays 400 yuan for the registration fee at one time.


 


    7. Reward method:


     1. Rewards will be given to the top six in Class A, Class B and the top three without a rating.


2. According to the relevant regulations of the China Bridge Association, this competition declares the master points of the China Bridge Association.


   


8. Matters needing attention:


     1. All contestants must establish a good card style. If any bad behavior such as cheating is found, they will be warned and disqualified from the competition.


     2. The competition adopts the double contract bridge rules promulgated by the China Bridge Association in 1999 and the double contract bridge judging method promulgated by the China Bridge Association in 2006.


     3. The registration of each team member is valid once and cannot be changed or added after the start of the competition. If there are special reasons, it must be approved by the organizing committee before changes can be made.


     4. Each person can only represent one team. If a player is found in two teams, the player will be disqualified from the competition and the second team of the player will be judged to have zero score in the game.


     5. 10 to 20 minutes late for the game will deduct 10% of the IMP earned by the late team; 20 to 30 minutes late will deduct 20% of the IMP earned by the late team; late for more than 30 minutes will be considered as abstention.


     6. In the round robin of A and B, if the team abstains before half of the schedule, all previous results will be cancelled. If the race is halfway through, the result is valid.


7. Participants must fill in the Chinese agreement card, and each pair of players must bring the agreement card in duplicate to participate in the competition, otherwise they will be treated unfavorably until they are not allowed to play.


     8. In this game, each pair of players can only use psychological bids once per game, but forced openings are not allowed to be called psychological bids (such as precise 1C, Aike 2C, etc.).


9. This game prohibits the use of brown convention bids (such as multi-purpose 2D and brown convention bids with uncertain points and card types) and highly unusual systems (such as a first-order opening indicating a certain suit is long or short)


10. In the game, the players' agreed bidding needs to be reminded (for example, the new suit is not forcing in response to the bid, and the new suit is not forcing in the jump bid, etc.). If the curtain is not drawn, the following bids shall not be reminded:


(1) All doubled


(2) It means uniform or semi-uniform, or it is recommended to play no-trend bidding with no-trend contract


(3) Any bid of Tier 4 or above, unless it is an agreed bid in the first round of bidding


11. All players must pay attention to the order, position and cards of the deck. Beiguan card, south score, east-west check. If a card error occurs, the responsible party at the previous table will be responsible for example before the card is viewed, and the responsible party at the table after the card has been viewed. Inserting the wrong card causes the card to be invalidated and the responsible party 3IMP is deducted.


12. After each game, the winning team will hand over the score sheet to the referee. If there is a tie, the home team will hand in the table. For teams that are out of date and do not hand in the form, the game will be scored as zero points.


    13. If you disagree with the penalty, you can appeal to the arbitration committee. The time limit is to submit written materials within 30 minutes of the game, otherwise it will not be accepted and the Arbitration Commission will make the final decision.


14. Smoking is prohibited in the arena. Once discovered, a warning will be given and points will be deducted (1 VP will be deducted for each person in the preliminaries and semi-finals, and 2 VP will be deducted for each person in the finals) until the qualification is disqualified.


15. Participants are not allowed to use any communication tools in the game. Once it is discovered that the team's 3VP has been deducted for the first time, the team will be disqualified for the second game and will be deemed as abstention.


16. The unfinished matters shall be notified by the organizing committee separately.
