Competition Rules of Fujian Bridge Championship 2011
1、 Date and place of competition
Date: August 11 to August 14, 2011.
Venue: Humei Hotel, Quanzhou, Fujian.

5、 Participation methods
1. Participants of the 7th "Fengda Cup" Bridge Invitational Tournament
2. Representative teams of domestic provincial, municipal, district and local bridge associations; National bridge enthusiasts can also form teams freely
The total number of participating teams is 36, until the number is full according to the registration order.
6、 Competition method
1. Competition method; The competition is divided into four stages;
The first stage of qualifying; Swiss system is adopted for the competition. There are 7 rounds, 8 pairs of cards in each round, and each team is ranked with VP accumulated points.
The second stage of promotion and demotion competition; According to the ranking in the first stage, they are divided into three groups. 1-12 in group A, 13-24 in group B and 25-36 in group C. The participating team will bring the VP75% obtained by the team in the first stage into the second stage. Each group will have 5 rounds of Swiss made competitions, with 8 cards for each round. Each group accumulates VP ranking by two stages; The last four teams in Group A were demoted to Group B; The last four teams in Group B were demoted to Group C; The top four teams in Group B are promoted to Group A; The top 4 teams in Group C are promoted to Group B; The upgraded team of Group B/Group C will bring the VP90% obtained from the fifth round of the second phase plus the VPs brought by the first phase into the previous group. The teams met in the first stage are allowed to play again in this stage, but only once in this stage.
The third stage promotion and demotion competition; Each group will have 5 rounds of Swiss made competitions, with 8 cards for each round. VP ranking of each group is accumulated according to the first three stages; The last four teams in Group A were demoted to Group B; The last four teams in Group B were demoted to Group C; The top four teams in Group B are promoted to Group A; The top 4 teams in Group C are promoted to Group B; The upgraded team of Group B/Group C will bring the VP90% from the fifth round of the third stage plus the VPs from the first two stages to the previous group. The teams met in the previous two stages are allowed to play again in this stage, but only once in this stage.
The fourth stage; Each group will have 5 rounds of Swiss made competitions, with 8 cards for each round. Teams met in the previous stage are allowed to play again in this stage, but only once in this stage.
Final ranking; Each group shall be enrolled according to the accumulated scores of the fourth stage.
2. All regional and municipal teams qualified to participate in Fujian Provincial Championships will be ranked separately and also participate in the ranking of invitational competitions
3. The Chinese Bridge Competition Rules and the Double Entry Contract Bridge Judgment Law of the China Bridge Association (Trial) approved by the China Bridge Association are adopted.
4. The competition team and the chief referee of the General Assembly shall preside over the drawing of lots.
5. Players participating in the competition must bring 2 copies of the agreement card to the competition table.
7、 Incentives
1. Total bonus: RMB 90800 (in addition to the top 6 winners of Fujian Provincial Championships)
① The top 6 in Group A will be awarded; One Fengda Champion Cup worth 30000 yuan won by the first place winner; The second place winner is a 15000 yuan Fengda runner up cup; The third place is a 10000 yuan "Foster Third Trophy" trophy; RMB 8000 for the fourth place; RMB 6000 for the fifth place; The sixth place: 5000 yuan
② The top 4 in Group B will be awarded; One Fengda Friendship Cup worth 5000 yuan won by the first place winner; 4000 yuan for the second place; RMB 3000 for the third place; 2000 yuan for the fourth place;
③ The top 2 in Group C will be awarded; 1800 yuan for the first place; 1000 yuan for the second place;
④ Rewards will be given to the teams that have won the top 6 of Fujian Provincial Championships.
2. Members of the China Bridge Association who have won the ranking can get corresponding master points according to the relevant regulations of the China Bridge Association.
8、 Registration and check-in
1. Registration fee: RMB 1000 per team;
2. Each team has a maximum of 6 players, 1 leader and 1 coach;

The organizing committee will determine the team according to the order of application (subject to the application fee).
5. The travel expenses, board and lodging of the participating teams and athletes to and from the venue shall be borne by themselves.
6. Each team will report to Humei Hotel on August 10.
The organizing committee can book hotels on behalf. Hotel standards are as follows:;
1. Humei Hotel (four-star, venue location, room rate including breakfast): senior double standard 328 yuan/day * room (8 rooms), ordinary double standard 258 yuan/day * room (48 rooms with computers), ordinary double standard 228 yuan/day * room (36 rooms without computers), senior single room 388 yuan/day * room (25 rooms), ordinary single room 328 yuan/day * room (6 rooms), senior suite 488 yuan/day * room (12 rooms);
2. Women's Federation Training Center (200m away from the venue); Double standard 120 yuan/day * room (20 rooms excluding breakfast);
9、 The referee is Cao Zhihua, a national referee.
10、 There is no arbitration committee in the competition. In case of any dispute over the judgment of the referee, the referee can change the judgment after fully consulting and listening to the relevant opinions.
