"Hali Cup" Hangzhou Bay Area Bridge Invitational Tournament Competition Regulations

Jiaxing Bridge Association of Zhejiang Province


The Haiyan County People's Government and the Zhejiang Bridge Association decided to jointly host a bridge invitational tournament. The competition rules are as follows:


 I. Organizer and Organizer

2. Forms of competition and invitations


Form of competition: Open team competition. Invited parties: Bridge teams from cities (counties, districts) around Hangzhou Bay area and individual friendly city bridge teams.


Third, the competition time and place


Time: May 9-11, 2008
Venue: National AAAA-level scenic spot—Jinniushan Hotel in Haiyan Nanbeihu Scenic Area


Fourth, the competition method:


(1) Qualifying: The Swiss shift system is used. The competition is held in 5 rounds with 16 decks each. The ranking is based on the VP ranking. Rights of the host: This time the host is the Haiyan team. If they do not enter the top eight of the qualifying match, they will retain the eighth position. If you qualify for 5-8, you will be determined to be fourth.


(2) Elimination:


Participate in the competition by ranking.


1.1-4, 2-3, 5-8, 6-7 play-offs with 20 cards.


The winning teams of 1-4, 2-3 participated in the championship and runner-up finals. The 5-8 and 6-7 negative teams returned to Switzerland. The number of cards in the finals is 24, divided into the first half and the second half.


3, 1-4 losers against 6-7 winners, 2-3 losers against 5-8 winners, 24 cards. The two winning teams decide three or four according to the ranking, and the two losing teams decide five or six according to the ranking.


(3) Switzerland: There are three rounds with 12 decks in each round. They are ranked by VP, and 30% of the VPs will be brought to Switzerland. The knockout team took the first four top Swiss VPs in the first round of the Swiss competition, plus 30% of the original qualifying VP to participate in the Swiss competition.


V. Competition Procedure:


(1) Cards for the competition: The computer is used for the competition and the points are calculated by the computer.


(2) At the end of each round, each team must check the results of the match in a timely manner after receiving the score sheet. If in doubt, immediately ask the opponent team to confirm the change to the scoreboard within 5 minutes.


(3) Competition time: 12 pairs (90 minutes); 16 pairs (120 minutes); 20 pairs (160 minutes); 24 pairs (190 minutes).


6. The ranking method when the points are the same:


(1) Qualifying and Swiss: Compare the IMP and TP rates of the same team in all competitions in order, with the highest one ranking first. Still the same draw decision.


(2) Elimination: Compare the TPs of the same team. Still the same draw decision.


(3) Finals and play-offs: Compare the TPs of the same team, with the highest one ranked first. It is still the same with one deck of cards to determine the winner.


 


Seven, game schedule


Friday, May 9: 7:00 pm Opening Ceremony 7:30 pm Qualifying Rounds 1 and 2


May 10 (Saturday): Morning: Visiting the North and South Lake Scenic Area Afternoon: Qualifying Rounds 3 to 4
                     Evening: qualifying round 5; knockout, Swiss round 1


May 11 (Sunday): Morning: first half of the final, second round of the Swiss race Afternoon: second half of the final, first round of the Swiss
Three rounds of afternoon: 15:30 closing ceremony


Competition costs


1. Each team pays the registration fee of 200 yuan, and the transportation and accommodation costs are at their own expense.


2. The cost of meals, tickets to scenic spots and competition bonuses for participating athletes will be borne by the organizer.


3.Bonus setting


The top 6 in the open team competition: 5,000 yuan for the first place, 2500 yuan for the second place, and 1500 yuan for the third place


The fourth to sixth places are 1,200 yuan, 1,000 yuan, and 800 yuan respectively.


Switzerland won the top two, with prize money for each team: 800 yuan and 500 yuan.


Each winning team in the second and third rounds of Switzerland can get a prize of 100 yuan.


Nine, registration and registration


1. Each city, county (district) that receives the invitation can apply for a team, and each team is limited to 4-6 (including the team leader and coach)

4. Registration: Please report to the Jinniushan Hotel in Nanbei Lake Scenic Area, Haiyan before 4:30 pm on May 9,


From 4:30 to 5:00, a team leader meeting will be held.
