The Wuhan Bridge Association will host the "Wuhan Summer" Bridge Open Doubles from June 21 to July 20, 2008.

2. Competition methods:
1. The implementation of the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" and "Chinese Bridge Association Double Contract Contract Judgment Law (Trial)" approved by the China Bridge Association.
2. Venue: The third floor of Golden Garden Club.
3. The competition is divided into three stages: preliminaries, semifinals and finals. The number of seats in the preliminaries and semifinals will be determined by the referee ’s drawing.
The specific arrangements are as follows:
From June 21, 2008 to July 6, 2008, multiple preliminaries will be held. The preliminaries will be held in Mitchell format. Each round will be held at 8:30 in the morning and 1:30 in the afternoon. Take the top 30% of each group's NS and EW positions to enter the semifinals.
In the semifinals on July 12th, the Mitchell system was used. There was one round in the morning and one in the afternoon. The total score of the two rounds was used to rank.
In the finals on July 13th, two groups of five tables were used in the Howell system, and the final ranking was decided after four rounds of mixed arrangement.
The finalists will receive corresponding bonuses and bridge points in Wuhan according to their rankings.
First place: 2000 yuan, 50 points
Second place: 1,000 yuan, 40 points
Third place: 800 yuan, 30 points
Fourth place: 600 yuan, 20 points
Fifth place: 500 yuan, 15 points
Sixth place: 400 yuan, 15 points
The seventh and eighth places each received 10 points; the ninth and tenth places each received 5 points.
3. Registration method:
1. Free pairing and unit pairing.
2. Registration fee: 20 yuan / pair for the preliminaries and semifinals, 100 yuan / pair for the finals

4. Matters needing attention
1. All participants must establish a good brand style. Once cheating, deliberate water discharge and other undesirable behaviors are found, a warning will be given until the competition is disqualified.
2. Substitutions are not allowed during the game. Once the substitutions are found, the players will be disqualified.
3. In the event of being late, according to the time of late arrival and the number of cards played by other players, the card that has not been played before the end of the round is scored 0 points, and the opponent scores 60% of the game points. If you are late for a round, you will be disqualified for the game.
4. In the event of a card error in the game, 50% of the game points of the person responsible for the vice card will be deducted according to the situation, and the non-responsible party will make appropriate adjustments.
5. Unusual bidding system (such as weak open bidding, etc.) shall not be used in this competition. It is not allowed to use forced opening called psychological calling (such as precise 1C, natural 2C, etc.). It is strictly forbidden to use psychological calls and brown convention calls during the game.
6. Any agreement that is not natural must be clearly indicated to the other party.
7. Smoking is prohibited in the arena, and will be warned and deducted if found (50% of the points for each deck deducted per person; the qualification for the match will be cancelled directly more than three times)
V. Appeal
1. The competition has an arbitration committee to accept the complaints of each pair.
2. All appeals must be submitted to the referee within 10 minutes after the official score of each round is announced, and the appeal procedures must be performed as required. The appeal fee is RMB 100 each time.
