The selection methods and relevant requirements of the National Women ’s Bridge Team are as follows:


First, through the voluntary registration screening to generate the national women bridge training team finalist qualification, through the selection competition to produce a large list of women training teams.


Second, the selection method


(1) Adopt the whole selection method.


(2) Athletes who meet the qualifications for free registration, the coaching team organizes a selection match according to the registration situation, and selects 6-9 pairs from them as members of the national women's training team.


(3) All the members of the training team must participate in the concentrated training and designated competition, comprehensively score according to the training results and participation, and determine the national women's team 1, 2 and 3 for the national team's participation tasks.


Third, the eligibility


(1) Free registration by individual members of China Bridge Association.


(2) Athletes must meet the following conditions:


1. Citizens of the People's Republic of China;


2. Individual member of China Bridge Association;


3. Under the age of 60 years old, at the same time can go on business trip procedures;


4. Have not participated in the World Championships and Intercontinental Championships on behalf of other countries and regions in the last 3 years.


(3) To register as a female athlete, you must meet one of the following conditions, of which the team competition appearance rate must reach 50%.


1. Get the top three results of one of the following events in 2018 or 2019:


(1) Women's team competition, women's doubles competition, youth women's team competition, youth women's doubles competition in the 4th National Intellectual Games Bridge Competition;


(2) Women's team competition and women's doubles competition in the National Bridge Championship;


(3) National Bridge Club Women's League;


(4) Women's First Division in the National Bridge Team Competition;


(5) Women's Team of National Bridge Club Championship;


(6) Women's Team in the National Bridge Youth Team Competition.


2. From January 1st, 2018 to December 31st, 2019, female athletes who have received 800 points or more from the China Bridge Association.


3. In 2018, 2019 the national women's team.


4. World-class master, world-life master.


5. The athlete who won the women's team of the World Bridge Championship and the top three women's doubles.


6. Athletes who have won the Women's Double Championship in the Asian Games Bridge Game.


7. Athletes who have represented the Chinese team in international competitions in 2018-2019.


(4) If one of the registered athletes meets the conditions of Article 3 or 4 above, there is no restriction on the partner.


(5) If one of the registered athletes obtains the qualification of representative of the national mixed team, its partner is allowed to register another partner to participate in the selection among the athletes who meet the qualifications for the selection of women's training teams.


Fourth, the right to represent


(1) Representing the national team to participate in world championships and intercontinental competitions during the cycle.


(2) Representing the national team in other international bridge events during the cycle.


(3) Representing the national second and third teams in the world or intercontinental championships and other international bridge events that are allowed to participate in the cycle.


Fifth, the trial competition method


Definitely determined depending on the finalists.


Six, abstain after being selected


Athletes who abstain for no reason after being selected into the national training team will:


The athlete will be disqualified from participating in the national bridge competition for 1 year, and the athlete will be disqualified from the next qualifying round of the national team.


Seven, national team management


(1) The daily management of the selected national team members is the responsibility of the China Bridge Association. When participating in international competitions, it is managed by the China Bridge Association.


(2) The unified training arrangement of the national team is the responsibility of the coaching team of the national team, and the selected athletes must be absolutely obeyed.


(3) The daily training and competition activities of the national team are the responsibility of the unit they belong to, but they may not conflict with the unified training and competition of the national team.


(4) The selected athletes must participate in all unified trainings, abide by the "National Bridge Team Management Regulations" during training, and complete the national team training and competition tasks. If the requirements are violated, the national team will be disqualified.


(5) Have a strong patriotic feeling and desire to win glory for the motherland. He has good sportsmanship and professional ethics, strictly abides by the requirements and regulations of the national and international organizations related to the style of competition, and observes the contract in good faith. When participating in international competitions, it is necessary to protect the image of the motherland and abide by the relevant regulations of the Chinese bridge team.


(6) Athletes of the National Women's Training Team participate in the training organized by the China Bridge Association, and the competition expenses shall be borne by the China Bridge Association.


Eight, sign up


(1) Online registration will be conducted through the special topic of the "National Women's Bridge Training Team Selection Tournament" of China Bridge. Participants must complete the online registration before December 25 and send the registration form to the China Bridge Association at the same time.


(2) When registering, each athlete shall be designated item-by-item, and the number of rooms and contact information shall be specified.


(3) After registration, China Bridge Association will review the registration qualifications and confirm the contestants.

Nine, registration and leader meeting


Each team will report to Building No. 7 at Jiangsu Building (No. 88, Andingmenwai Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing, diagonally opposite to the north gate of Ditan Stadium) before 19:30 on January 3. The pre-match meeting will be on January 3 at 20:00 All players and athletes are invited to attend on time at the Ziyu Hall on the third floor.


10. Cost


(1) Contestants shall pay for their own expenses.
