The opening ceremony of the Gansu Youth Bridge Training Base was held on September 23 at Lanzhou No. 16 Middle School. This is the first youth bridge training base in our province. The Provincial Bridge Association has equipped the base with teaching boards, equipped with bridge equipment, and assigned the bridge leaders to give specific guidance.
Lanzhou Sixteenth Middle School is the first school in our province to carry out bridge teaching in a class structure. In the first half of 2007, in order to carry out quality education, characteristic education and the Provincial Bridge Association, the school opened a two-hour bridge course in the first grade. The Provincial Bridge Association was asked to send teachers to teach students and train bridge training team members. At present, the school representative team composed of junior and third grade students has emerged. It has won three championships and runners-up in the Lanzhou Junior Introductory Tournament. In the Gansu branch of the National Youth Bridge Summer Camp, it has won the top two in the promotion class. Two, once second, and formed a women's bridge team to participate in the provincial women's bridge team competition, so that the students can get exercise in the competition.
Now the school continues to start classes in the first and eighth grades, and there are bridge players in the second and third grades to carry out activities in an orderly manner under the guidance of the teachers of the Provincial Bridge Association.
