To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, actively prepare for the first National Mind Games, further promote the development of bridge sports in the province, improve the level of competition, cultivate outstanding talents, and enrich the amateur cultural life of the masses. The Henan Provincial Social Sports Management Center, Henan National Fitness Association, and Henan Bridge Sports Association decided after research to host the 2009 Henan Provincial Bridge Championships. The specific matters are notified as follows:

1. Organizers: Henan Social Sports Activity Center, Henan National Fitness Association, Henan Bridge Sports

2. Competition date and location:

Date: October 29 to November 1, 2009

Location: Yuxiang Hotel, Kaifeng City

3. Participating unit: Open Group A team (won the 16 A team in 2008)

              Open Group B Team

4. Competition item: team competition (upgrade and downgrade)

5. Participation method:

(1) Each team can report for 1 team leader and coach, 6 athletes, and the participating unit must be a member of the Provincial Bridge Association. Each athlete can only represent one team in this competition, otherwise the results of the two teams will be invalid.

(2) Registration date and method

1. Mail the report list to Kaifeng City Bridge Association or call for registration before October 20.

2. The registration fee for each team of A and B teams is 200 yuan

6. Competition method:

(1) Competition method:

(1) First-tier team: 15 rounds of single round robin, 12 decks of cards in each round.

(2) Team B: The arrangement method is decided according to the registration situation.

(2) Calculation method: The first-level team round-robin matches are settled by V.P. If two or more teams have the same V.P, compare the ratio of I.M.P scores, and the higher one will be ranked first.

(3) Quota for promotion and promotion:

(1) The first-tier team is downgraded by 4 to the second-tier team.

(2) The top 2 teams of the second-tier teams are promoted to the first-tier teams

(4) The competition adopts the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association in 1999 and the "China Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Judgment Method (Trial)" promulgated in 2006.

    (5) The competition team and the chief referee preside over the grouping and arrangement work.

(6) Each pair of contestants must fill in the Chinese agreement card in detail, and those without an agreement card are not allowed to participate.

7. Reward method:

The top 6 of the first-class team in the open group shall declare the master points of the Chinese Bridge Association according to the regulations.

8. Registration time: Before 17:00 on October 29, 2009, a meeting will be held at 18:00 and lots will be drawn.
