Competition Rules of the First Happy Bridge Spring Festival Bridge Tournament

1. Competition time

January 15-17, 2010.

2. The venue of the competition

Chengdu Kuaihuoqiao Bridge Club (30 Wuhouci Street, in the Sichuan Chemical Research and Design Institute).

3. Participants

Those who meet one of the following three conditions can register as a team (only team registration is accepted, individual registration is not accepted):

(1) Those who have participated in the 2009 Happy Bridge Online League among the friends from outside of the Happy Bridge at least once;

(2) Class C members of Chengdu Paiyou Kuaihuoqiao Club in 2009, and have participated in at least one offline city-level bridge competition in the name of Kuaihuoqiao;

(3) Class A and Class B members of Chengdu Paiyou Happy Bridge Club in 2009.

4. Competition method

10 teams: 5 rounds of Swiss system, 12 decks of cards in each round, ranked according to the total number of VPs, the top four enter the semi-finals, and the last six enter the play-offs. The semifinals, the three or four finalists and the finals each played 24 decks of cards in two quarters. The play-offs will be played in 3 rounds of the Swiss system, with 12 decks of cards in each round.

12 teams: Divide into two groups, single round-robin system, 5 rounds, 12 decks of cards in each round, ranked according to the total number of VPs, the top two of the two groups enter the semi-finals, and the last four enter the play-offs. The semi-finals, three or four finals, finals and play-offs are the same as the 10-team.

6. Participation fees

free.

7. Competition rewards

First place: 4800 yuan

Second place: 2400 yuan

Third place: 1200 yuan

Fourth place: 600 yuan

For each win in the play-offs, you can get a bonus of 100 yuan; for each tie, you can get a bonus of 50 yuan. Wins and draws are calculated by IMP, and VPs are tied but there is a difference in IMP.

8. Time arrangement for each round

The first round: January 15th at 7:00 pm The second round: January 15th at 8:40 pm

The third round: January 16th at 9:00 am Fourth round: January 16th at 10:40 am

Fifth round: January 16th at 2:00 pm

The first quarter of the semifinals and the first round of the play-offs: January 16 at 4:00 pm

The second quarter of the semi-finals: January 16 at 7:30 pm

The first quarter of the final and the second round of the play-offs: January 17 at 9:00 am

The second quarter of the final and the third round of the play-offs: January 17 at 10:40 am
