"Agricultural Bank of China Cup" 2010 Big Business Bridge Invitational Tournament will be held in Beijing from May to June 2010. The competition-related matters are hereby notified as follows:
1. Game time
(1) Preliminaries
First stop: May 9, 2010 (Sunday) 13:00-18:00
Second stop: June 5, 2010 (Saturday) 13:00-18:00
(2) Final
June 27, 2010 (Sunday) 9:00-17:00
2. The venue of the competition
First stop: Ziyun Hall of Capital Hotel
Second stop: Ziyun Hall of Capital Hotel
Final: Jinyun Hall of Capital Hotel
3. Competition method
(1) The competition adopts a 4-person team competition (each team can apply for 1 leader and 4-6 athletes).
(2) Preliminary round: The Swiss system is used, with 10 rounds in total, each round with 7 decks of cards.
(3) Finals: The top 23 teams in the preliminaries VP total score will enter the finals, the serial numbers are No. 2-24, and the sponsors will directly enter the finals, with the serial number of the No. 1 team. There are 5 rounds of Swiss-style tournaments in the final, with 10 decks of cards in each round, and the rankings are based on VP.
4. Eligibility
(1) In principle, each team shall form a team of employees of the unit to participate in the competition.
(2) If each team has a head office leader, his partner is allowed to be a member of a foreign unit.
(3) If there are registered athletes of the Chinese Bridge Association in the team, they must be regular employees of the registration unit.
(4) The organizer will invite some participating teams.
V. Rewards
(1) The top eight teams in the finals will be rewarded.
(2) The competition will be awarded the master points of the Chinese Bridge Association according to the "Technical Grade Standards for Chinese Bridge Association Members".
(3) All teams participating in the competition will receive participation prizes
6. Registration
All participating units are requested to register with the Chinese Bridge Association before April 27th according to the requirements of the regulations.
