Notice on Holding the Second Cross-Strait Bridge Tournament

      The second cross-strait bridge game will be held on June 21 at the Fujian Hot Spring Hotel. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Event Name: The 2nd Straits Forum Cross-Strait Sports Festival and Bridge Friendship Tournament

2. Organizer: Fujian Provincial Sports Bureau

       Organizer: Fujian Bridge Association, Taiwan Bridge Association

       Organizer: Fujian Tiandiren Bridge Club

3. Event time, place, etc.:

        Time: From June 21st to 25th, 2010, register on the 21st and leave on the 26th.

        Venue: Fuzhou Hot Spring Hotel

4. Teams: A total of 20 teams are invited to participate, as follows:

     1. One representative team each from Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, etc.;

      2. Taiwanese business representatives: one team from Xiamen and one from Fuzhou;

      3. Relevant leadership teams;

      4. The representative teams of the bridge associations, provincial direct and provincial bridge associations of all districts and cities in Fujian Province.

         (2) Doubles

6. Competition method:

       1. Team competition: 20 teams are divided into 2 groups in a single round-robin, each round of 12 pairs, and the top two teams from each group will enter the semi-finals and finals. The semi-finals and finals are divided into 2 quarters, each with 16 pairs.

       2. Double competition: The players who have not entered the team competition can participate in the double competition. The competition is divided into 2 rounds with 24 pairs in each round.

7. Rewards:

        Prizes will be awarded to the top four in the team competition and the double competition.

8. The unfinished matters will be supplemented by the organizer.
