2010 Second "Wuyi Cup" Bridge Invitational Competition Rules

1. Competition time and place:

Competition Dates: July 16-20, 2010

Venue: Century Taoyuan Hotel, Wuyishan City, Fujian Province

2. Sponsor: Nanping Sports Bureau, Wuyishan Municipal People's Government

    Organizer: Wuyishan Culture and Sports Bureau, Nanping Bridge Association, Wuyishan Bridge Association

    Co-organizer: Wuyishan Xianrenyan Tea Co., Ltd.

3. Competition items: Bridge team match.

4. Participation method:

1. All bridge enthusiasts can participate in teams, each team has 1 coach (or team leader) and 4 to 6 athletes.

2. Registration fee: RMB 600 per team.

3. Room and board fee: RMB 800 per person (standard room).

4. The board and lodging of the participating teams will be arranged by the conference, and the round-trip travel and accommodation expenses will be borne by themselves.

5. Competition method:

1. Implement the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the Chinese Bridge Association in 1999 and the "Chinese Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Judgment Law (Trial)" promulgated in 2006.

2. The competition is divided into two stages.

The first stage adopts the group round-robin (or Swiss shift), playing 12 decks of cards in each round, and taking the top two in each group to enter the second stage. 30% of the results in the first stage were carried into the second stage of the Swiss Shift. The second stage of the knockout and the Swiss shift will be played at the same time, in which the knockout will play 32 decks of cards (divided into upper and lower quarters). The negative team took 38VP to participate in the Swiss Shift Tournament, and the Swiss Shift Tournament played 16 decks of cards per round.

3. Each pair of partners must bring a contract card in 3 copies, 1 of which will be handed over to the competition group of the conference.

6. Admission ranking and awards:

Rewards will be given to the top four places in this competition and the top six places in the Swiss Shift competition.

Prizes for the top four teams in the team competition are as follows:

1st place: 20000 yuan 2nd place: 8000 yuan 3rd place: 5000 yuan

4th place: 4000 yuan

The top six prizes in the Swiss shift competition are as follows:

1st place: 4000 yuan 2nd place: 3000 yuan 3rd place: 2000 yuan

4th place: 1500 yuan 5th place: 1000 yuan 6th place: 1000 yuan

7. Registration and Registration:

1. Teams must fill in the registration form in the prescribed format and submit it to the Nanping Bridge Association before July 1, 2009. The registration period ends or the registration deadline for 40 teams. The registration fee will be sent to the designated account of the conference at the time of registration.

2. Registration: Teams will report to the competition area on July 16, and the team leader meeting will be held at 19:00 on the 16th. The conference will not be responsible for pick-up and drop-off.

8. Referee:

Comrade Yu Miao will be hired as the chief referee for this competition, and the referee will be selected by the organizer.
