2. Competition date and place:

Date: 24-31 July 2010

Venue: Grade A and B: Lai Ting Bar, Building G (first floor), Zhongfu Hotel (No. 619, Jiujiang Road)

           Grade C: Shanghai Yingchangqi Weiqi School (No. 200, Tianjin Road), 3rd Floor

3. Participating units: Open Class A team (16 Class A teams in 2009)

                           Open Division B Team (16 Division B teams in 2009)

                           Open Division C Team

4. Competition items: team competition (implementation promotion and promotion)

5. Participation method:

(1) Each team can apply for 1 team leader and coach and 6 athletes. The participating unit must be a group member of the Municipal Bridge Association, and the athletes must be individual members of the Shanghai Bridge Association. Each athlete can only represent one team in this competition, otherwise the results of the two teams will be invalid.

(2) Registration date and method

1. From July 7, 2010, from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm every day, go to Room 2118, No. 1800, Zhongshan South 2nd Road (East Asia Building), City Bridge Association Office, Tel: 63721759; or at China Bridge Website (www.ccba.org.cn) for online registration.

2. The A and B teams will charge a registration fee of 500 yuan per team, and the C-level teams will charge a registration fee of 400 yuan per team.

6. Competition method:

(1) Competition methods for each group:

                   1. Open Division A team: divided into two stages.

Stage 1: Round robin, 16 decks per round. The top 8 in the round robin will enter the quarter-finals, and the 9th and 10th in the round-robin will be ranked 9th and 10th respectively.

                   The 11th to 14th places in the round-robin match entered the knockout stage 1-1 and 1-2 respectively, and the 15th and 16th places in the round-robin match were relegated.

Stage 2: Knockout.

(1) First round knockout:

          Quarter-finals: The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the round-robin competition have the right to choose their opponents from the 5th to 8th places, and play a 32-deck final. Winner advances to semifinals

          The losers enter the 5th to 8th place play-offs.

          Knockout 1-1: The 11th and 12th place in the round robin will play a 32-deck elimination round. The winner will be relegated, and the loser will advance to the knockout round 2-1.

          Knockout 1-2: The 13th and 14th place in the round robin will play a 32-deck knockout round. The winner goes to the knockout stage 2-1, the loser is relegated.

(2) Second round knockout:

          Semi-finals: The winning team of the quarter-finals will play the 32-deck final. The winners advance to the finals, and the losers advance to the 3rd and 4th place play-offs. 1/4 final

                         The losing team will play a 32-deck play-off, and the winner will enter the 5th and 6th place play-offs. The losers will be ranked 7th and 8th according to the round-robin results.

          Knockout 2-1: The losing team of the knockout 1-1 and the winning team of the knockout 1-2 play 32 decks of cards. The winner is relegated, the loser is relegated.

(3) Third-round knockout:

          Final: The winning team of the semi-final will play the 32-deck final. The winner is the first, and the loser is the second.

          3rd and 4th place play-offs: The losing team in the semi-finals will play a 24-deck play-off. The winner is third and the loser is fourth.

          5 and 6 play-offs: The winners of the 5-8 play-offs advance to the 24-deck play-offs. The winner is fifth and the loser is sixth.

 2. Open Division B team: divided into two stages.

Stage 1: Round robin, 16 decks per round. The top 2 in the round-robin are promoted, and the 3rd to 6th in the round-robin will enter the knockout rounds of 1-1 and 1-2 respectively.

                   The 7th to 10th places in the round-robin match will be relegated, the 11th to 14th places in the round-robin match will be eliminated 1-3 and 1-4 respectively, and the 15th and 16th places in the round-robin match will be dropped.

(2) Second round knockout:

          Knockout 2-1: The losing team of the knockout 1-1 and the winning team of the knockout 1-2 play 32 decks of cards. The winner is promoted, the loser is relegated.

          Knockout 2-2: The loser of Knockout 1-3 and the winner of Knockout 1-4 play 32 decks of cards. The winner is relegated, the loser is relegated.

 3. Open Group C team: divided into two stages.

The first stage: Swiss round robin, a total of 10 rounds of 8 decks, the first 8 rounds are not repeated, and the last 2 rounds are repeated. . forward

Stage 2: Knockout.

                   Knockout 1-2: The 5th and 6th place in the round robin play a 32-deck knockout round. The winner goes to the knockout stage 2-1.

                   Knockout 2-1: The losing team of the knockout 1-1 will play 32 decks of cards with the winning team of the knockout 1-2, and the winner will be promoted.

(2) Calculation method for each group:

(1) The round-robin match between A and B teams will be settled by V.P. If the V.P of two or more teams is equal, the I.M.P score ratio will be compared, and the higher team will be ranked first. In the knockout round, the number of I.M.Ps will be compared, and the higher one will be ranked first; if they are equal, 2 extra cards will be played until the winner is determined.

(2) The C-level team is divided into the main field and the V.P is supplemented. 0~1I.M.P, the field is divided into 1:1; 2~5I.M.P, the field is divided into 1.5:0.5; above 6I.M.P, the field is divided into 2:0. If the V.P is equal, then the I.M.P score ratio will be compared, and the higher one will be ranked first.

       (3) Score method:

                  Entering the knockout stage, if the two teams in the match (except Class C) have met in the previous stage, the winning team will score points. The winning team is in the previous stage

                  If the segment is in the first place, with a margin of 1/2 of the I.M.P; otherwise, with a margin of 1/3 of the I.M.P; the I.M.P must not exceed the current knockout or additional

                  1/4 of the number of cards in play-off games.

(4) Promotion and promotion quotas:

(1) The A-level team is demoted by 4 to the B-level team.

(2) The top 4 teams in the B-level team will be promoted to the A-level team, and the B-level team will be lowered by 4 to the C-level team.

(3) The top 4 of the C-level teams will be promoted to the B-level teams.

(5) The competition adopts the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the Chinese Bridge Association in 1999 and the "Chinese Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Judging Law (Trial)" promulgated in 2006.

(6) The competition team and the chief referee will preside over the grouping and arrange the work.

(7) Each pair of contestants must fill in a Chinese contract card in detail. Those without a contract card are not allowed to participate.

7. Rewards:

The top 6 first-class teams in the open group will be awarded the master points of Shanghai Bridge Association according to regulations, and the master points of China Bridge Association will be declared according to regulations.

8. Matters not covered will be notified by the organizer separately.
