Supplementary Notice on the 2010 National Bridge Club Championship

All participating units:

The 2010 National Bridge Club Championship will be held in Meishan City, Sichuan Province from August 21st to 28th. Supplementary notices regarding the competition are hereby notified as follows:

1. Registration

    (1) Participating units: According to Article 4 of the "2010 National Bridge Club Championship Competition Regulations".

    (2) Athletes: Registration is accepted according to Article 5 of the "2010 National Bridge Club Championship Competition Regulations".

Each participating team can report 1 leader (or coach) and 4-6 athletes.

(3) The participating teams must submit the registration form to the China Bridge Association and the Meishan Bridge Association before July 31. Overdue registration will be regarded as abstention.

(4) Registration fee: 800 yuan per team, which should be sent to the Meishan Bridge Association at the time of registration, otherwise the registration will not be accepted.

2. Registration

(1) The referee and arbitration committee shall report on August 19.

(2) Teams should report to the competition area before 18:00 on August 20. At 20:00, a joint meeting of the organizing committee, referees and coaches will be held.

(3) Registration (competition) location: Minjiang East Lake Hotel, Meishan City.

3. Overview of the competition area

Meishan, known as Meizhou in ancient times, is the hometown of Su Dongpo, a great writer of the Northern Song Dynasty. It is located in the southwest of Chengdu Plain and south of Chengdu City. It is an important part of the Chengdu Plain Economic Circle. It is 65 kilometers away from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, and about 60 kilometers away from Chengdu Shuangliu Airport. It takes only 50 minutes to reach Meishan from Shuangliu Airport to Meishan Expressway.

4. Accommodation

Boarding and lodging are provided by the teams themselves. The Organizing Committee provides the following accommodation for reference:

(1) Meishan Minjiang East Lake Hotel (five-star) can accommodate 300 people.

Room and board standard: standard room (2-person room), 310 yuan/person/day with meals; 380 yuan/room/day without meals, and 60 yuan/person/meal for buffet.

(2) Meishan Dongpo International Hotel (quasi-four-star, 3 kilometers away from the competition site), with a capacity of 200 people.

(4) If the room and board needs to be arranged by the competition area, please indicate the hotel standard when registering. Due to the limited number of occupants at the Minjiang East Lake Hotel, the organizing committee will give priority to the Minjiang East Lake Hotel according to the order of registration.

5. Traffic

(1) To fly to Chengdu Shuangliu Airport, take the civil aviation bus to Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station, and then take the bus to Meishan. Or take a taxi directly to Minjiang Donghu Hotel or Dongpo International Hotel in Meishan City;

(2) Take a train to Meishan, or take a taxi to Minjiang Donghu Hotel or Dongpo International Hotel in Meishan City;

(3) Take the train to Chengdu North Railway Station, take the Meishan Passenger Bus from the North Railway Station to Meishan Passenger Transport Center Station. Take a taxi from the Passenger Transport Center Station to Minjiang Donghu Hotel or Dongpo International Hotel.
