Notice on Holding the 2011 Wuhan Bridge Team Tournament

Wuhan Bridge Association will cooperate with relevant units to hold four sub-stations in the middle of 2011, and the top six teams in the annual total points will enter the finals. The specific matters are as follows:


1. Organizer: Wuhan Bridge Association

      Co-organizer: Wuhan Power Supply Company (first stop)

2. Competition time and place:

     1. Competition time: January 15-16, 2011

     2. Venue: Hankou Xinhua Road Stadium City Bridge Association Club

3. Competition items: Open team competition.

4. Participation method:

     1. Free team formation is adopted, and each team confirms one person in charge. Each player can only represent one team in the competition.

     2. Each team can report 1 leader or coach and 4 to 6 players in each competition. Each team is limited to two players who participated in the 2010 National Bridge Class A club competition.

     3. Welcome to the "1+8" Wuhan city circle to send teams from various places and cities to participate in the competition

5. Competition method:

The game is played in two stages.

Stage 1: Qualifying: The Swiss system is used. There are seven rounds in total, with 8 decks of cards in each round, and the rankings are ranked by accumulated VP points. The top 12 advance to the second stage of competition

Second stage: Knockout.

     1. Knockout 1: The top 4 teams in the qualifying round will advance to the semi-finals with points, which will be divided into two quarters, each with 16 pairs. The 1st place in qualifying has the right to pick an opponent from the 3rd and 4th place. The winning team in the semi-finals advances to the finals, and the losing teams advance to the play-offs. The final and the playoffs are divided into two quarters, each with 16 sets. The winning team in the final is the champion of the competition, and the losing team is the runner-up; the winning team in the play-off is the third place in the competition, and the losing team is the fourth place.

     2. Knockout 2: The teams ranked 5th to 12th in the qualifying rounds will play three knockout rounds with points. That is, 5-12, 8-9 are in the upper half, 6-11, 7-10 are in the lower half. 16 decks of cards per round. Knockout 2 decides the 5th to 10th place in the competition.

     3. The competition implements the Chinese Bridge Competition Rules approved by the Chinese Bridge Association and the "Chinese Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Judgment Law (Trial)"

6. Rewards for the first stop: 3,000 yuan for the first place, 1,800 yuan for the second place, 1,500 yuan for the third place, 1,000 yuan for the fourth place, and 500 yuan for the fifth and sixth place.

7. Points conversion: Points are awarded for the top 10 teams in each competition, 10 points for the first place, 9 points for the second place, and so on. .

8. Registration and registration:

     1. The deadline for registration is 12:00 on January 14, 2011. Due to field reasons, this site is limited to 14 teams, while the quota is full.
