Notice and Supplement of "Bochum Cup" Spring Bridge Competition in Mianyang

1. Competition time and place:

  Time: From 17:30 on February 25, 2011 (Friday), to the end of the 27th.

  Venue: Mianyang New World Hotel (near the railway station, also the main venue for the upcoming 2011 Sichuan Bridge Championship)

2. Registration and registration

      Registration: All teams are requested to register at the conference from now until February 22 (registration telephone: 18981186399 or 0816-7089607 Li Gang),

      Registration: Before 5:30 p.m. on February 25 (Friday), register at the venue and draw lots. Each team pays a participation fee of 300 yuan at the time of registration.

3. Competition Regulations

  This competition is an open team competition, divided into two stages: preliminaries and finals.

  Preliminaries: Play seven rounds of Swiss Shift. Play 12 pairs in each round, regardless of section, and rank by VP (the same rankings are implemented according to the relevant regulations of <<Rules>>). The top eight will enter the finals (if the representative team of the sponsoring unit does not enter the top eight in the preliminaries, one of the teams will automatically enter the top eight, and the others will take the top seven).

  Final: Play 32 pairs in each round, divided into two quarters, one to four.

  Play-offs (playing 12 pairs): The teams that did not enter the top eight and the losing team in the quarter-finals will have another four rounds of Swiss shifts to determine the fifth to eighth places in this competition.

4. Rewards

  The first place is 2000 yuan; the second place is 1400 yuan;

  The third place is 1,000 yuan; the fourth place is 800 yuan;

  The fifth place is 600 yuan; the sixth place is 400 yuan;

  The seventh and eighth place will be awarded 300 yuan each.

   There will also be two lucky prizes (determined by lottery after the completion of the competition), each with a prize of 200 yuan.

 5. The unfinished matters will be notified separately.

 Attachment: Competition schedule and arrangement

  The preliminaries (Swiss shift system) consist of seven rounds of 12 pairs each.

  February 25th evening: 1st round 6:00-7:30

                        Second round 7:45-9:15

 The morning of February 26: The third round 8:40-10:10

                        Fourth round 10:25-11:55

             Afternoon: Fifth round 1:00-2:30

                        Round 6 2:45-4:15

                      The seventh round 4:30-6:00

  After the seven rounds of preliminaries, the top eight teams will play the quarter-finals (playing 32 pairs) at 7:30 that night. The winner enters the competition for the top four, and the loser and the teams that did not enter the top eight will continue to have four rounds of Swiss shift on the morning of the 27th to compete for the fifth to eighth places.

  On the morning of February 27:

             Swiss Shift Eighth Round 9:00-10:30

                           The ninth round 10:45-12:15

  1/2 match (32 vices):

    8:40-12:25 am

  On the afternoon of the 27th:

               Switzerland shift tenth round 1:40-3:10

                            Eleventh round 3:25-4:55

 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 4th finals (32 pairs)

     1:30--5:15

  Awards and closing ceremony at 5:30 pm.
