2021 National Bridge Club Women's League Competition Rules

1. Competition date and location

The time and venue of the game are to be determined.

4. Participating Units

(1) Zhejiang Qiantang, Shanghai E-House, Beijing Huayuan, Nanjing Zhaohe, Shanghai Yanshan·Fengshi, Haining Lagerstroemia, Dongfeng Fengshen, JJ Competition, Guangdong Zhaoheng, and the women’s club of the host unit.

(2) If there is an abstention team:

1. The 4th place in the 2019 National Bridge Club Women's League Qualifying Tournament will be replaced;

2. Selected by the organizer.

5. Participation method

(1) All participating athletes must be non-payment individual members of the China Bridge Association.

(2) Each team can send one leader, one coach, and 4-6 athletes.

(3) Each team shall pay for its own participation fees.

6. Competition method

(1) The competition is divided into two stages

1. The first stage: round robin, each game has 16 decks of cards, ranked by VP points. 1-4 are in the knockout 1-1, 5-8 are in the knockout 1-2, and 9 and 10 are in the knockout 1-3.

2. The second stage: Divisional knockout

(1) The first round of elimination

Knockout 1-1: The 1-4 players in the first stage will play 48 decks of cards. The first-placed team has the right to choose opponents from the third and fourth-placed teams. The winning team enters the final, and the losing team enters the knockout 2-1.

Knockout 1-2: In the first stage, the 5-8 players will play 48 decks of cards. The fifth-placed team has the right to choose opponents among the seventh and eighth-placed teams. The winning team enters the knockout 2-1, and the losing team enters the knockout 2-2.

Knockout 1-3: In the first stage, the 9th and 10th players will play a 48-deck match, and the winning team will enter the knockout 2-2.

(2) The second round of elimination

Knockout 2-1: The 2 losing teams of the knockout 1-1 and the 2 winning teams of the knockout 1-2 will play 48 cards. The team ranked first among the four teams in the first stage has the right to choose opponents among the third and fourth teams. The winning team enters the 3rd and 4th place, and the losing team is ranked 5th and 6th according to the first stage ranking.

Triangular match: The 2 losing teams in the knockout 1-2 and the winning team in the knockout 1-3 are played. The two teams compete with 32 decks of cards, divided into 4 quarters, and the ranking is arranged by points. The 3 teams were ranked 7-9 in the competition.

(3) Finals and 3, 4 contests

Final: 80 decks of cards will be played in 5 quarters.

3rd and 4th place competition: 32 decks of cards will be played, divided into 2 quarters.

(2) The competition adopts the "China Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association in 2018 and the "Supplementary Regulations on China Bridge Competition Rules" (2020).

(3) The electronic version of the Chinese system cards and their attached pages of all playing combinations of each team must be sent to ccba@sport.gov.cn at the time of registration.

(4) Each pair of players brings two copies of the Chinese system card and its attached pages to the table during the game.

7. Admission Ranking and Rewards

(1) The top 6 candidates will be awarded certificates, among which the top 3 will be awarded medals.

(2) The top 7 players will qualify for the 2022 National Bridge Club Women’s League.

(3) According to the "Technical Grade Standards for Chinese Bridge Association Members", the master points of the Chinese Bridge Association will be awarded.

8. Eligibility for the 2022 League

(1) There will be 10 teams participating in the league in 2022, and the qualifications are:

1. The top 7 in the National Bridge Club Women's League in 2021.

2. In 2021, the women's team of the National Bridge Club Championships will take 2 in order.

3. The club women's team of the organizer.

(2) The same unit can only obtain one qualification.

9. Registration and check-in

(1) Registration

1. Each unit must submit the registration form to the China Bridge Association and the competition area 20 days before the start of the competition. If it is overdue, it will be considered as a waiver.

2. Registration fee: 2000 yuan per team. The registration fee is collected by the organizer and used to subsidize the lack of competition funds.

(2) Registration

The referees will report to the competition area 2 days before the game, and each team will report to the competition area 1 day before the game.

10. The methods for the selection and appointment of referees and arbitration committees are separately formulated.

11. Other

(1) The participating teams must purchase personal accident insurance (including during the competition and on the way back and forth).

(2) The team leader meeting is scheduled to be held at 20:30 one day before the game. Each team must be attended by the team leader or coach.

(3) Matters not covered will be notified separately.
