"Sail Cup" 2010 Taizhou Bridge Competition Rules

1. Competition date and place:


From May 7th to 9th, 2010, Wenling Hotel, Wenling City (No. 151, Beimen Street, Wenling City).


2. Organizer:


Taizhou Bridge Association.


3. Undertaker:


Wenling Bridge Association, Zhejiang Jingfan Saddle Co., Ltd.


4. Competition items:


Open Group A and B team competitions.


5. Participating units:


(1) Open Class A teams: Sanmen 1st Team, Taizhou Front Guard Team, Yuhuan 1st Team, Zhejiang Hongzhen 1st Team, Hisun 3rd Team, Hisun 1st Team, Taizhou Power Plant Team, Linhai Puma 1st Team, Wenling 1st Team , Zhejiang Second Construction Team, Luqiao Second Team, and the host team.


(2) The second-level teams of the open group: AD Team, Haizheng Second Team, Wenling Second Team, Taizhou Sailing Team, Luqiao First Team, Xianju Team, Huangyan Bridge Association Team, Taizhou Science and Technology Team, Sanmen Second Team, Zhejiang Hongzhen The second team, Linhai Puma second team, Yuhuan second team.


6. Athlete Qualifications:


(1) The number of non-Taizhou players in each team shall not exceed one.


(2) All participating athletes must be individual members of the Chinese Bridge Association.


7. Participation method:


Each team can report 1 leader (or coach) and 4-6 athletes.


8. Competition method:


(1) Promotion and promotion quota:


1. A-level team: Drop 4 teams to B-level team.


2. Second-level teams: Promote 3 teams to A-level teams, and drop 4 teams to C-level teams.


(2) Competition methods for each group:


1. Open Division A team: divided into two stages.


The first stage: round robin, 10 decks per game, ranked by cumulative VP. The top 4 places in the round-robin match will enter the semi-finals, the 5th and 6th place in the round-robin match will go to the 5th and 6th place, and the 7th, 8th, and 9th-11th places will enter the knockout stage of 1-1 and 1-2 respectively, and the 12th place will be relegated in the round-robin match.


Stage 2: Knockout.


(1) First round knockout:


Semi-finals: The top 4 players in the round-robin match will play in the semi-finals of 24 decks. The game is divided into 2 quarters. The 1st place in the round robin has the right to choose an opponent among the 3rd and 4th place, and the remaining 2 teams will face each other. The winners advance to the finals, and the losers advance to the 3rd and 4th place play-offs.


5-6 competition: Round-robin 5-6 will play 24 decks of cards, and the competition is divided into 2 quarters. The winner is fifth and the loser is sixth.


Knockout 1-1: The 7th and 8th place in the round robin play a 24-deck knockout round, and the game is divided into 2 quarters. The winner will be relegated, and the loser will advance to the knockout round 2-1.


Knockout 1-2: The 9th, 10th and 11th place in the round-robin match will compete in a triangular match. The two teams will play 12 decks of cards. The ranking will be determined by the game points first, and the accumulated VP will determine the ranking if the game points are the same. The first place went to the knockout round 2-1, and the other two teams were relegated.


 (2) Second-round knockout:


Final: The winning team of the semi-final will play the final of 24 decks of cards. The game is divided into 2 quarters. The winner is the first, and the loser is the second.


3rd and 4th place play-offs: The losing team in the semi-finals will play a 24-deck play-off, and the game will be divided into 2 quarters. The winner is third and the loser is fourth.


Knockout 2-1: The losing team of the knockout 1-1 and the winning team of the knockout 1-2 will play a knockout match of 24 decks. The game is divided into 2 quarters. The winner is relegated, the loser is relegated.


2. Open Division B teams: divided into two stages.


The first stage: round robin, 10 decks per game, ranked by cumulative VP. The 1st place in the round robin will be promoted, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th will enter the knockout 1-1 and 1-2 respectively. And 1-4, the 12th place in the round-robin was relegated.


Stage 2: Knockout.

Knockout 1-1: The 2nd and 3rd place in the round robin play a 24-deck knockout round. The game is divided into 2 quarters. Winners advance, losers advance to knockout 2-1.


Knockout 1-2: The 4th and 5th place in the round robin play a 24-deck knockout round. The game is divided into 2 quarters. The winner goes to the knockout stage 2-1, and the loser stays out of relegation.


Knockout 1-3: The 7th and 8th place in the round robin play a 24-deck knockout round, and the game is divided into 2 quarters. The winner will be relegated, and the loser will advance to the knockout round 2-2.


Knockout 1-4: The 9th, 10th and 11th place in the round-robin match will compete in a triangular match. The two teams will compete with 12 decks of cards. The ranking will be determined based on the game points. If the game points are the same, the cumulative VP will determine the ranking. The first place goes to the knockout round 2-2, and the other two teams are relegated.


(2) Second-round knockout:


Knockout 2-1: The losing team of the knockout 1-1 and the winning team of the knockout 1-2 will play a knockout match of 24 decks. The game is divided into 2 quarters. The winner is promoted, the loser is relegated.


Knockout 2-2: The losing team in knockout 1-3 and the winning team in knockout 1-4 will play a 24-deck knockout match. The game is divided into 2 quarters. The winner is relegated, the loser is relegated.


(3) With points:


In the second stage of the knockout, if the two teams play against 24 decks of cards, the team with the highest ranking in the first stage of the preliminaries will carry 6IMP; if the two teams play against 12 decks of cards, the team with the highest ranking in the first stage of the preliminaries will carry 3IMP.


    (4) Adopt the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the Chinese Bridge Association.


(5) The drawing of lots will be presided over by the competition team of the conference and the chief referee.


(6) Each pair of players will bring a contract card to the game.


9. Admission ranking and awards:


Prizes will be given to the top 6 admitted by the A-level team and the top 3 admitted by the B-level team.


10. Registration and Registration:


(1) Registration:


1. Each unit must submit the application form to Taizhou Bridge Association and Wenling Bridge Association before April 28, 2010. Overdue registration will be regarded as abstention. 2. Registration fee: 200 yuan/team. Taizhou Bridge Association entrusts the competition organizer to collect the fees when each team registers.


(2) Registration:


All participating teams will report to the competition area at 10:00 on May 7, 2010, the team leader meeting will be held at 10:30, and the competition will officially start at 13:00.


(3) Room and board


The food and lodging of each team will be arranged by the organizer. The cost of meals shall be borne by the organizer, and the cost of accommodation shall be borne by the organizer. Accommodation standard: 1. Standard room is 220 yuan per day. 2. Standard room is 160 yuan/room per day.


11. Unfinished matters will be notified by the organizer separately.
