2010 Hubei Province Second Middle School Students Bridge Championship Competition Regulations

2. Time and place of the game:

1. Competition time: July 22 to 26, 2010

2. Venue: Tiesiyuan Middle School, Wuchang District, Wuhan City

3. Competition items:

Open team competition; Open double competition. According to the registration situation, it will be decided whether to set up the women's double competition.

4. Competition method:

(1) Entry quota:

Ordinary middle schools in the province can form teams in the name of the school, and the number of places is not limited. All participating schools should report the preparations for the competition to the municipal and state sports and education administrative departments before registration. Local sports and education administrative departments should strictly control the scale of registration.

(2) Conditions of entry:

1. Athletes must be students of ordinary junior high schools with formal school status.

2. Athletes must pass the cultural class exam, abide by the relevant regulations of the school, and be in good health.

(3) How to participate:

1. Each team can apply for 1 leader, 1 coach and 4 to 6 athletes.

2. The registration for the double competition is carried out during the competition.

3. The competition expenses shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant national regulations on current sports competitions. Each team shall pay RMB 60 per person per day for board and lodging at the time of registration, and travel expenses shall be borne by themselves. The participating schools shall not charge students any fees in any form.

5. Competition method:

(1) The competition implements the Chinese Bridge Competition Rules approved by the Chinese Bridge Association and the "Chinese Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Judging Law (Trial)".

(2) The competition strictly implements the regulations on disciplinary violations in sports competitions for Chinese middle school students.

(3) The competition will be drawn by the competition team of the conference and the chief referee.

(4) Competition method:

 It will be divided into two stages: preliminaries and finals.

Preliminary rounds: 6 rounds of Swiss Shift rounds without grouping, 12 decks per round, no divisions. The ranking is determined by VP accumulation.

Final: The top 8 teams in the preliminaries will go to 3 knockout rounds with points. There are 24 decks of cards in each round, divided into upper and lower sections. Press 1-8, 4-5, 3-6, 2-7 to automatically align.

The teams after the 8th preliminaries will play 4 rounds of Swiss Shift, with 12 decks in each round. The ranking is determined by VP accumulation.

2. Registration: All participating teams should report to the competition area before 4:00 pm on July 22, 2010. The team leader meeting will be held at 4 pm, and the first round will be held at 7 pm.

7. Rewards:

(1) The top 8 teams in the open team competition will be rewarded and issued with certificates.

(2) The top 4 places in the Swiss Shift Competition will be rewarded and awarded a certificate.

(3) The top 6 teams in the double competition will be rewarded and awarded a certificate.

8. Rules for the selection of referees and arbitration committees shall be formulated separately.
