2021 Sichuan Bridge Championship Competition Regulations


        1. Competition time and place


        It will be held in Lezhi County, Ziyang City from June 24th to 27th, 2021.

        4. Participating units


        (1) Class A Group


        1. One group: Guojiao 1573, Pude Dayan, Chengdu Silan, Leshan Meikemeijia, Chongqing BY Group, Rongxian Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Guangyuan Jianmen Xiongguan, Neijiang City, Chongqing Wandering, Qiaoyi Commercial Kitchen.


        2. Group 2: Mianyang Jinshuo, Bank of Shanghai Chengdu Branch, Shushan Cambridge, Beibei Qiao Rui, Twelfth Floor, Antou Group, Dacheng Oriental, Southwest Petroleum University Community, Dali State Bridge Association, Zigong Bridge Association.


        (2) Group A and B


        1. One group: Xichang Tianxi, Guiyang Dongfang, Chengdu Aobo, Jinkouhe Grand Canyon, China Overseas Gas, Nanchong Bridge Association, Sichuan Business Lawyers, Liangshan Hongxin Securities, Meishan East Slope, and Guangyuan World Xiongguan.


        2. The second group: Huasen Sugar Industry Jinsha Yunya, Sichuan Shuyu, Mianyang Bridge Association, Ya'an City, Lanqiruo, Yunnan Tongkang, Yibin Shao'e Valley, Guang'an Bridge Association, Provincial Bridge Association Activity Center, Le To Hongsheng Leasing.


        (3) Group B: other member units that meet the entry requirements.


        V. Eligibility and methods


        (1) Each member unit can apply for one representative team to participate in the competition. There are no restrictions on women's teams, colleges and primary and secondary schools.


        (2) Competing athletes must be individual members of the Chinese Bridge Association.


        (3) Each team can have four to six athletes and one team leader (coach).


        (4) Each team is responsible for its own expenses.


        6. Competition method


       (1) Competition method


        1. Group A and A: divided into three stages.


        The first stage: group single round robin


        Divide into one and two groups (the serial number of each group/team shall be determined in accordance with Article 4 of this Regulation), and each will conduct 9 rounds of single round-robin competition, with 8 decks of cards in each round. The 1st to 5th place in each group will enter the first group of the second stage, and the 6th to 10th place in each group will enter the second stage of the second group.


        Stage 2: Group Crossover


        One group: The 1st-5th place in each group in the first stage will be awarded the VP points of the first stage group, and they will compete with the 1st-5th place in the other group in the first stage. There are 8 decks of cards in each round, and the stage will be ranked according to the accumulated VP. 1st to 10th, 9th and 10th relegation.


        Group 2: The 6th-10th place in each group in the first stage will take the VP points of the first stage, and will compete with the 6th-10th place in the other group in the first stage. There are 8 decks of cards in each round, and the stage will be ranked according to the accumulated VP. 11th to 20th, 19th and 20th were relegated.


        After that, the 1st to 4th place will advance to the knockout round 1-1, the 5th to 8th will advance to the knockout stage 1-2, the 11th to 14th will advance to the knockout stage 1-3, and the 15th to 18th place will advance to the knockout stage 1-4.


        Stage 3: Divisional Knockout


        (1) 1st round knockout


        Knockout 1-1: The 1st to 4th place in the second stage will play 20 decks of cards, divided into 2 quarters. The 1st-placed team has the right to choose an opponent from the 3rd and 4th-placed teams. The winning team advances to the final, and the losing team advances to the knockout round 2-1.


        Knockout 1-2: The 5th to 8th place in the second stage will play 20 decks of cards, divided into 2 quarters. The 5th-placed team has the right to choose an opponent among the 7th and 8th-placed teams. The winning team enters the knockout round 2-1, and the losing team is ranked 7th and 8th according to the second stage to avoid relegation.


        Knockout 1-3: The 11th to 14th place in the second stage will play 30 decks of cards, divided into 3 quarters. The 11th-placed team has the right to choose an opponent among the 13th and 14th-placed teams. The winning team will be ranked 11th and 12th in the second stage to avoid relegation, and the losing team will enter the knockout round 2-2.


        Knockout 1-4: The 15th to 18th place in the second stage will play 30 decks of cards, divided into 3 quarters. The 15th-placed team has the right to choose an opponent among the 17th and 18th-placed teams. The winning team enters the knockout stage 2-2, and the losing team is ranked 17th and 18th in the second stage and relegated.


        (2) 2nd round knockout


        Knockout 2-1: The 2 losers in the knockout 1-1 and the 2 winning teams in the knockout 1-2 play 20 decks of cards, divided into 2 quarters. The team ranked first among the four teams in the second stage has the right to choose an opponent from the third and fourth teams. The winning team will enter the 3rd and 4th place play-offs, and the losing team will be ranked 5th and 6th place in the second stage.


        Knockout 2-2: The 2 losers in knockout 1-3 and the 2 winning teams in knockout 1-4 play 30 decks of cards, divided into 3 quarters. The team ranked first among the four teams in the second stage has the right to choose an opponent from the third and fourth teams. The winning team will be ranked 13th and 14th for relegation according to their ranking in the second stage, and the losing team will be ranked 15th and 16th according to their ranking in the second stage to be relegated.


        (3) Finals and 3rd and 4th place play-offs.


        Final: 30 decks of cards, divided into 3 quarters.


        3rd and 4th place play-offs: 20 decks of cards will be played in 2 quarters.


        2. Group A and B: It is divided into three stages.


        The first stage: group single round-robin, the competition method is the same as the A-level group.


        Stage 2: Group Crossover


        One group: The 1st-5th place in each group in the first stage will be awarded the VP points of the first stage group, and they will compete with the 1st-5th place in the other group in the first stage. There are 8 decks of cards in each round, and the stage will be ranked according to the accumulated VP. 1st to 10th, 1st and 2nd to upgrade.


        Group 2: The 6th-10th place in each group in the first stage will take the VP points of the first stage, and will compete with the 6th-10th place in the other group in the first stage. There are 8 decks of cards in each round, and the stage will be ranked according to the accumulated VP. 11th to 20th, 19th and 20th were relegated.


        After that, the 3rd to 6th place will advance to the knockout 1-1, the 7th to 10th will advance to the knockout 1-2, the 11th to 14th will advance to the knockout 1-3, and the 15th to 18th will advance to the knockout 1-4.


        Stage 3: Divisional Knockout


        (1) 1st round knockout


        Knockout 1-1: The 3rd to 6th place in the second stage will play 30 decks of cards, divided into 3 quarters. The third-placed team has the right to choose an opponent from the fifth- and sixth-placed teams. The winning team will be ranked 3rd and 4th in the second stage for promotion, and the losing team will enter the knockout round 2-1.


        Knockout 1-2: The 7th to 10th place in the second stage will play 30 decks of cards, divided into 3 quarters. The 7th-placed team has the right to choose an opponent among the 9th and 10th-placed teams. The winning team enters the knockout round 2-1, and the losing team is ranked 9th and 10th to avoid relegation according to the second stage ranking.


        Knockout 1-3: The 11th to 14th place in the second stage will play 30 decks of cards, divided into 3 quarters. The 11th-placed team has the right to choose an opponent among the 13th and 14th-placed teams. The winning team will be ranked 11th and 12th in the second stage to avoid relegation, and the losing team will enter the knockout round 2-2.


        Knockout 1-4: The 15th to 18th place in the second stage will play 30 decks of cards, divided into 3 quarters. The 15th-placed team has the right to choose an opponent among the 17th and 18th-placed teams. The winning team enters the knockout stage 2-2, and the losing team is ranked 17th and 18th in the second stage and relegated.


        (2) 2nd round knockout


        Knockout 2-1: The 2 losing teams in the knockout 1-1 and the 2 winning teams in the knockout 1-2 will play 30 decks of cards, divided into 3 quarters. The team ranked first among the four teams in the second stage has the right to choose an opponent from the third and fourth teams. The winning team will be ranked 5th and 6th for promotion according to the ranking of the second stage, and the losing team will be ranked 7th and 8th according to the ranking of the second stage to avoid relegation.


        Knockout 2-2: The 2 losers in knockout 1-3 and the 2 winning teams in knockout 1-4 play 30 decks of cards, divided into 3 quarters. The team ranked first among the four teams in the second stage has the right to choose an opponent from the third and fourth teams. The winning team will be ranked 13th and 14th for relegation according to their ranking in the second stage, and the losing team will be ranked 15th and 16th according to their ranking in the second stage to be relegated.


        3. Group B: divided into two stages.


        Level B: It is carried out in two stages.


        The first stage: 14 rounds of points arrangement competition (teams of the same unit do not face each other), eight decks of cards in each round, and the rankings are ranked by cumulative VP. The 1st and 2nd places are promoted, the 3rd-6th place will enter the knockout stage 1-1, and the 7th-10th place will enter the knockout stage 1-2.


        Stage 2: Divisional Knockout.


        1. 1st round knockout


        Knockout 1-1: The 3rd place team in the first stage has the right to choose an opponent from the 5th-6th place team and play 30 decks of cards. The winning team is promoted, and the losing team enters the knockout round 2-1.


        Knockout 1-2: The 7th place team in the first stage has the right to choose an opponent from the 9th-10th place team and play 30 decks of cards. The winning team advances to the knockout stage 2-1.


       2. 2nd round knockout


        Knockout 2-1: The 2 losers of the knockout 1-1 and the 2 winners of the knockout 1-2 play 30 decks of cards. Among the 4 teams, the team ranked first in the first stage has the right to choose an opponent from the teams ranked 3-4, and the winning team is promoted.


        (2) Adopt the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the Chinese Bridge Association in 2018.


        (3) Each pair of players in the Class A group must prepare three copies of the "System Card", one of which must be submitted to the referee team for the record before the competition; each pair of players in the Class B group must prepare two copies of the "System Card".


Athletes must bring their own system cards when they play.


        7. Ranking Admissions and Awards


        (1) The top 6 students in the Class A and A group will be admitted and given cash rewards.


        (2) All levels of competitions will be awarded the master points of the Chinese Bridge Association according to the "Technical Grade Standards for Members of the Chinese Bridge Association".


        (3) The 15th-20th place in the A-level group will be relegated to the A-B group, the 1st-6th place in the A-B group will be promoted to the A-level group, the 15-20th will be relegated to the B-level group, and the B-level group will be promoted to the B-level group. 1-6 will be promoted to Class A and B.


        8. Registration and Registration


        (1) Registration


        1. Each member unit must register on the China Bridge Online before June 15, and it will be regarded as abstention if it is overdue. Before the registration deadline, each team can make changes online by themselves, and need to remember the PIN code.


        2. Event service fee: 600 yuan/team for the first-level group, 500 yuan/team for the second-level group. The event service fee is collected by the organizer to subsidize the lack of event funds.


        The women's team, the colleges and primary and secondary school students' teams are exempted.


        3. List change: Within 7 days after the registration, the list can be changed (including team name, adding, reducing, changing players, correcting registration errors, etc.), and later changes need to fill in the list change application form, and each change must pay a handling fee of 100 yuan .


        (2) Registration:


        1. The competition judges will report to the competition area before 18:00 on June 23.


        2. Teams that fail to register on time must contact the competition area to confirm their participation before 18:00 on the day of registration. Teams that have not been confirmed will be treated as abstentions, and the competition will not be arranged if the registration is cancelled.


        9. The Competition Committee and the Arbitration Committee are selected by the Provincial Bridge Association


        10. Others


        (1) Each team must do a good job in prevention and control according to the requirements of the new crown prevention and control work plan of the host place.


        (2) No team leader meeting will be held in this competition. Please read the "Supplementary Regulations" carefully before the competition.


        (3) The right to interpret this regulation belongs to the Sichuan Bridge Association.


        (4) The unfinished matters will be notified separately.
