Notice of the Third Bridge Competition of "Wuyi Cup" in Haixi

The third Haixi "Wuyi Cup" bridge competition in 2011 will be held in Wuyishan City in March. The competition matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Competition time and place:

Competition Dates: April 22-25, 2011

Venue: Wuyishan City, Fujian Province

2. Sponsor: Nanping Sports Bureau, Wuyishan Municipal People's Government

    Organizer: Wuyishan Culture and Sports Bureau, Nanping Bridge Association, Wuyishan Bridge Association

3. Competition items: Bridge team match.

4. Participation method:

1. All bridge enthusiasts can participate in teams, each team has 1 coach (or team leader) and 4 to 6 athletes.

2. Registration fee: RMB 800 per team.

3. Room and board: RMB 600 per person (standard room in a four-star hotel).

4. The board and lodging of the participating teams will be arranged by the conference. The conference will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner at their own expense. Round-trip travel and accommodation expenses are at your own expense.

5. Competition method:

1. Implement the "Chinese Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the Chinese Bridge Association in 1999 and the "Chinese Bridge Association Double Contract Bridge Judging Law (Trial)" promulgated in 2006.

2. According to the number of participating teams, group round robin or Swiss shift will be adopted.

6. Admission ranking and awards:

Rewards will be given to the top four places in this competition and the top six places in the Swiss Shift competition.

Rewards for the top four teams in the team competition: 1st place: 25,000 yuan

7. Registration and Registration:

1. Teams must fill in the registration form in the prescribed format and submit it to the Nanping Bridge Association before April 1, 2011. The registration period will end or the registration will expire when 32 teams are registered. The registration fee should be sent to the designated account of the conference (bank remittance voucher fax or text message) when registering.
