Competition Rules of 2011 Bridge Invitational Tournament

1、 Date and place of competition

From June 1 to 4, 2011, Lijing Hotel (five-star), Dongchuan District, Kunming, Yunnan Province.

2、 Organizer

Dongchuan District People's Government, Yunnan Bridge Association.

3、 Undertaker

Yunnan Kunhua Bridge Club, Dongchuan Bridge Association, Dongchuan Jinnuo Co., Ltd.

4、 Participants

It is limited to 42 teams. （1） Invite the National Bridge Club, bridge associations of all units in China, and bridge associations of all regions (cities) in Yunnan Province to form teams to participate in the competition; （2） Bridge enthusiasts are free to form a team to register until the registration order is full.

5、 Competition items

Open team competition.

6、 Competition method

（1） The competition adopts the Swiss system, with 12 pairs for each round, and is conducted in three stages.

The first stage: 8 rounds of Swiss competition, ranking by cumulative VP.

The second stage: according to the results of the first stage, 1-14 players are divided into Group A, 15-28 players are divided into Group B, and 29-42 players are divided into Group C. Each group will have four rounds of Swiss matches (teams that have played in the first stage are allowed to play again in this stage, but only once in this stage). The VP ranking of each group is accumulated in two stages, and the last four of group A are reduced to group B; The first four of group B were upgraded to group A, and the last four were downgraded to group C; The top 4 of Group C were promoted to Group B.

The third stage: each group will have 4 rounds of Swiss matches (teams that have played in the previous two stages are allowed to play again in this stage, but only once in this stage). Each group accumulates VP ranking in three stages.

（2） The competition adopts the China Bridge Competition Rules approved by the China Bridge Association and the China Bridge Association Double Entry Contract Bridge Referee Law (Trial).

（3） Each pair of players must bring an appointment card to the game.

7、 Incentives

1. Total bonus: 82000 yuan.

The top 8 in Group A will be rewarded. 30000 yuan for the first place; RMB 10000 for the second place; 6000 yuan for the third place; 5000 yuan for the fourth place; 4000 yuan for the fifth place; 3000 yuan for the sixth place; 2000 yuan for the seventh place; 1000 yuan for the eighth place;

The top 5 in Group B will be rewarded. 5000 yuan for the first place; 4000 yuan for the second place; RMB 3000 for the third place; 2000 yuan for the fourth place; The fifth place is 1000 yuan.

The top 3 in Group C will be rewarded. 3000 yuan for the first place; RMB 2000 for the second place; 1000 yuan for the third place;

2. It is reported to the China Bridge Association for approval and awarded the Master Points of China Bridge Association according to the standards of the National Bridge Invitational Tournament.

8、 Registration and check-in

（1） Each team can report 1 leader (coach) and 4-6 athletes (2 professional players are limited for Class A clubs).

（2） To register, download the registration form from the China Bridge website, fill it out and send it to: ynkhqpjlb@sina.com 。 Or fax: 0871-3199369; The registration deadline is May 15. The registration is completed according to the registration order.

（3） Each team pays 500 yuan for registration. Transfer to Tian Yingxia through the counter of China Construction Bank when the application is confirmed. Card No.: 622700386203007740; The registration is valid after receiving the registration fee.

（4） The team will register at 18:00 on May 31. 20: 30 Team leaders.

10、 Expenses

Each participating team will pay for its own expenses. The conference will uniformly arrange accommodation in the Regent Hotel (five-star hotel). The standard room (single room) will cost 268 yuan/day (including breakfast). Buffet will be arranged for lunch and dinner, 80 yuan per person per day. The team that needs buffet will book it when registering.
