Competition Regulations for the 2022 National Bridge Youth Team Competition


1、 Competitive events


(1) Championships: U15, U20, U25, U25 Women's Groups


(2) Open: U15, U20, U25, U30, and U15 women's groups


2、 Participating units and methods


(1) Championships


1. The bridge associations of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, and cities specifically designated in the state plan will form teams to participate in the competition.


2. Each province, autonomous region, municipality directly under the central government, and city specifically designated in the state plan can apply for a maximum of one team in each group of the bridge association.


(2) Open Tournament


All member units, schools, training institutions, and individuals of the China Bridge Association are free to form teams to participate.


(3) Each team can participate in the competition with 1 leader, 1 coach, and 4-6 athletes.


(4) Each team shall bear their own participation fees.


3、 Athlete qualifications


(1) All individual members and enthusiasts of the China Bridge Association are eligible to register for the competition. All participants must be young athletes in good physical condition.


(2) Athletes participating in the championship must be non arrears individual members of the China Bridge Association, and their qualification shall be determined by their registered residence and school registration. Athletes with non local school and registered residence registration are not allowed to participate.


(3) There are no qualification restrictions for athletes participating in the open competition, and they are free to choose groups that meet the competition requirements based on age and gender.


(4) Age requirements for athletes in each group


Group U15: Athletes should be born after January 1, 2007.


2. U20 group: Athletes should be born after January 1, 2002.




3. U25 group: Athletes should be born after January 1, 1997.




4. Group U30: Athletes should be born after January 1, 1992.




4、 Competition methods




(1) The competition methods for each group depend on the registration situation.




(2) The competition adopts the "China Bridge Competition Rules" approved by the China Bridge Association in 2018 and the "Supplementary Provisions to the China Bridge Competition Rules" (2020).




(3) Each pair of players carries 2 sets of system cards to the table during the game.




5、 Ranking admission and rewards




(1) Each group is admitted to the top 6, and less than 6 participating teams are admitted to the top 3. Admission ranking is awarded with a certificate, with the top three being awarded medals.




(2) All competitions in each group are awarded Master Points by the China Bridge Association in accordance with the "Technical Grade Standards for Members of the China Bridge Association".




6、 Registration and check-in




(1) Registration




1. Each unit must submit one registration form to the China Bridge Association and one competition area before the deadline specified in the supplementary notice, and also register in the special event of China Bridge Network. Failure to do so will result in waiver. When registering, please provide both identity and age proof (ID card, household registration book, or student registration proof materials, one of the three is sufficient), otherwise the registration will be deemed invalid.




2. Registration fee




(1) Championship: No registration fee charged




(2) Open Tournament: All participating teams composed of non outstanding individual members of the China Bridge Association will be charged a registration fee of 600 yuan per team according to the following standards. The registration fee for non member and delinquent members of the competition will be added by 50 yuan per person on top of the above. The registration fee will be collected by the organizer.




3. Change the list




(1) Within the specified time after the registration deadline, each participating team may submit a written request to the China Bridge Association to change the list (including adding, reducing, changing athletes, correcting registration errors, etc.).




(2) If the list is changed after the specified time, an application form for changing the list must be filled out and submitted to the competition team of the university before the start of the first competition. A handling fee of 100 yuan must be paid for each change.




(2) Reporting




The referee will report to the competition area 2 days before the competition, and each participating team will report to the competition area 1 day before the competition.




7、 The selection method for judges and arbitration committees shall be separately formulated.




8、 Other




(1) When registering, all participating units must submit proof of personal accident insurance, including materials on the way to and from the competition area and during the competition period, otherwise they will not participate. All personnel, including participating athletes, who experience injuries, illnesses, or unexpected injuries in the competition area shall be specifically responsible by their respective units. The organizing committee will do its best to provide humanitarian and medical assistance.




(2) The team leader meeting is scheduled to be held at 20:30 one day before the competition, and each participating team must be attended by the team leader or coach.




(3) Matters not covered will be notified separately.
